I first got this in a sample , and loved it ! Bought the big one . Totally worth it . Dreamy summer scent , citrus with a hint of vanilla . Stays all day and then some .

Get It Before It's Gone!!!

This was a blind buy for me, as well as a FOMO buy due to missing out on Vanilla Insensee and one other due to this brand pulling out of the U.S. Let me tell you that this was the most surprising and most beloved blind buy ever. I've had some blind perfume buys I truly regret, but this is definitely not one of them! Lemon Island was literally love at first whiff and obsession at first wear. It's beautiful, magical, and just damn perfect! Think of crisp white linen tunics and capris, sandals, white sands and palm trees. This can either be your everyday scent, or a me day scent after pampering yourself and just want to relax. The lemon scent is soft and creamy, which I wasn't expecting. The creaminess comes from the coconut, but you don't get a coconut scent. The two are well blended. The slight, on the back end sweetness you get from the vanilla compliments the fragrance as a whole. You will literally sniff yourself to death. It's just that good. Longevity is amazing on clothes, like next day amazing, and a good 6-8 hrs on skin. I immediately ordered a backup of this the next day after wearing it. Buy it! You won't regret it!

Beautiful juicy scent

Lasts all day, very lemony fresh with a dose of Jasmine. I love this for summer but really anytime I want to smell bright & juicy. Sometimes it smells like lemon cakes, if worn with cocoa butter.

Simply beautiful

I originally tried this as part of a sampler. This is one of those scents that evokes a feeling. This scent IS summer. It smells so fresh. I decided to buy a travel size. Although this perfume has lemon notes, I would not consider it to be a “lemon” perfume, as some other reviewers describe it. The different notes of this scent work so well together and give a very warm, summery feeling. I wouldn’t say it smells like sunscreen, but it gives off that energy. In the best way. In my opinion, this scent is not inherently feminine or masculine and would work for anyone! I think this scent would be great for an outdoor patio type event. I also wear this to work. This perfume has staying power and maintains its original scent as it fades. I can tell I’m still wearing it. I notice that this has been sold at a discount for awhile. I bought the travel size at a fantastic price. It makes me worry that they are discontinuing the fragrance, because I would certainly buy this again. Fingers crossed that they are just repackaging the product.

How did they bottle summer? I'll never know, what I do know is that my eyes roll to the back of my head and by whole body shivers when I smell this in the middle of winter. I love citrus scents and this is my all time favorite, it smells very citrus-y and kind of like sunscreen (which I love the smell of) (obviously). I really only wear it in the summer, but I reach for it every single day.

I got a sample of this with an order, not by choice, and when I opened it I immediately said to myself-who wants to smell like a lemon. Gross-poured in on potpourri in my kitchen.

Wish I returned it

I really wish I returned it when I had the chance. I don't know what I was smelling in store that made me buy this because putting it on is awful. There is no fresh lemony scent here to be found. maybe a tinge of bitter citrus? It's a heavy smell that smells spicy like a lingering clove or cinnamon-like smell.

very old smell

Got the travel size item in one of my Sephora favorite perfumes box and the smell was not for me. it smelled like cinnamon/lemon spicy smell. You can BARELY smell the lemon at the very end. if you're into that smell then great!

pretty good, but not a hit with me.

This had a softness to it that I wasn't expecting. I guess from the coconut, which I hadn't expected either. I have another vanilla/lime type scent from this brand that I love, but this one is just ok. I was expecting a little more sharpness to it. This scent is fresh, yet soft, and only hints at the citrus in its name. It does seem to last a good while, too. It would a be very nice summer fragrance, as it's not overwhelming with its scent profile and it does remind me of a cool, breezy day at the coast. I think its a nice departure from the other scents by this brand. I don't regret purchasing this but it probably won't get a lot of rotation with me.

A wonderful perfume for grandma!

I rated it a five because I think the scent is for someone out there just not me. I have a love and hate relationship with it. There’s something so soothing and beautiful to it, at least on me. But then there’s something about it that I don’t like. It’s like too powdery smelling. My favorite summertime perfume is Vanilla Vibes by Juliette Has A Gun and this has a little wiff of that. This Atelier Cologne is more like the Vanilla Vibes version for old ladies!
