I usually don’t use primer as it tends to make my foundation sit weird on top of it but this….my base has never looked so good, so flawless and smooth looking

I love this primer ! It makes my makeup looks so smooth. My makeup artist used it for my makeup and I decided to buy it myself! I am On my second purchase of it

Perfect for sensitive, dry, maturing skin

I just turned 50 and colleagues were surprised and said my skin is amazing; it isn't. It's sensitive and dry and easily irritated. However for the last 6 months I've been using this and it looks and feels fabulous. I put a pea sized amount on each cheek with a swipe of concealer and just blend together over my whole face. Perfect slightly matte/slightly dewy look and consistency. I love it.

very good primer, sits very well under foundation especially when paired with ysl's own foundations and concealers, doesn't completely blur the skin however it does reduce the appearance of some skin texture, the primers texture is slippery almost like a balm with fine gold shimmer

Here’s a 0-star Disappointing Experience with YVES Primer I had high hopes for the YVES primer, given the brand's reputation, but it completely fell short of my expectations. Texture Issues: The consistency felt greasy and did not absorb well into my skin. Instead of providing a smooth base, it left a slick residue that made my makeup slip off. Poor Performance: After applying it, my foundation still looked patchy and uneven. It didn't enhance the longevity of my makeup, and by midday, my face was oily and makeup was breaking down. No Visible Benefits: I noticed no added radiance or smoothing effects as promised. It seemed like a waste of time and money. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this primer. It didn’t deliver on any of its claims and left me thoroughly disappointed. It's not worth the high price.

Déception pour peau sèche et mature

J'ai une peau sèche et mature. La 1ère fois je l'ai essayé sur peau propre sans aucune crème ni sérum, La 1ère sensation, il me donne une peau lice et douce. Un fois séché, il me fait une pellicule qui sèche et commence à peler. La 2ème fois, j'ai mis mes soins, sérum et crème, quelques minutes plus tard, et encore une fois, peau qui commence à peler. 3e fois, je l'ai mélangé avec mon sérum. Encore une fois, ma peau commence à peler. Décision, ce n'est pas pour une peau sèche et mature.

My daughter introduced me to this primer and I'm so glad she did. I don't know if it's the silky light weight feel or the gentle shimmer but it's just gorgeous on the skin. My makeup goes on flawlessly after I honestly cannot fault it. It's worth every penny!
