Gel Cleansing Balm

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Clear gel that is light weight and spreads easily to help remove makeup and dirt. Leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated. Very lightly scented and comes in an easy to use pump bottle. I have sensitive skin and this did not bother my skin at all.

The consistency of this is not at all like a balm or a gel. Like many others, mine is a completely separated oily mess. The consistency makes it really difficult to work with and no amount of shaking/stirring fixes the separation issue.

It’s a no for me

I’ve been very disappointed with this product. No matter how much I shake it, the consistency of the product is not at all what is described. As many others have said, it’s an oily mess with some blue blobs floating around. It does an ok job of cleaning my skin despite the inconsistency with the formula, but it is not a pleasant experience to use. I’ve also noticed an oil build up on the outside of the product, likely from it oozing out of the nozzle after I use it. I’m not quite halfway through with it and am considering just giving up and throwing it away which is something I never, ever do.

This excellent gel balm cleanser is very rich , very effective, with good and clean ingredients;it leaves my skin very soft and with a beautiful glow, also this cleanser remove very well my makeup and cleaning all the impurities on my skin ;the texture is light with a beautiful scent .

This cleanser separated so badly, no amount of shaking or stirring seemed to have an effect. I can still use it, but the consistency is like oily micellar water with some blue bits floating in it. Not the cleansing experience I was looking for, or the one I paid for… Not the cleansing

Can’t get past the smell

The Sunday Riley Aquamarine Melt Hydrating Gel Balm Cleanser works really well for my skin. It leaves my face feeling soft, clean, and hydrated with no tightness. I like that it contains nourishing ingredients like squalane and soothing marine botanicals, which help keep my skin balanced. The packaging is beautiful and feels high-end, making it look great sitting on my counter. The biggest drawback for me is the scent. I just could not get past it, and I often dreaded using it because of that. It is a shame because the formula and results are impressive. Overall this is a 50/50 product for me. I love the way it works and the care that went into the ingredients and presentation, but the smell keeps me from enjoying it fully.

Loved this - I need to get some more. Feeling and texture and smell was gorgeous - very fresh feeling.

Unfortunately Disappointing

I had high hopes for this cleanser but even after vigorously shaking and testing this product is definitely not worth the price. It comes out like it is just an oil with some bits of gel. It doesn’t emulsify very well and leaves an oily film behind. Appreciate the opportunity to try but this product needs some work. Very pretty packaging though!

[Please note I received this product in exchanges for an honest review.] This can be a lovely gel-balm texture that is easy to manipulate with arthritic hands and gets rid of all hard-wearing makeup. I’ve had trouble with the product separating a bit, so I suggest really shaking the bottle hard before using. When it comes out in that proper gel-balm, it goes on really well. With my damaged hands, I can only wash my face with my finger tips; this melting balm allows me to have control over where the cleanser goes. I’m not usually a fan of oil based makeup remover/face cleanser, but this was a good balance. I use it in the shower and wipe it off with a warm, wet microfiber face cloth. And it didn’t make my face red and tight after washing. It’s a little expensive, but if it’s in your comfortable price range, I would say it’s effective for getting rid of makeup and daily life in general, and feels lux. Plus my husband uses it too! I’ve included two photos to demonstrate how clean it gets and how well I control the clean. Eye makeup can be the most difficult, but it works!

“I received this product in exchange for my honest review” I have mixed feelings about this product. This product is perfect for when you’re not using a heavy full cover foundation as it cleans your face well and leaves my skin feeling soft. I noticed that when I did use a full cover foundation it made it more difficult to get the same results. I had to use this more than once to get it all out and even after using it twice I felt I needed another cleanser which I ended up using something else too. It works for w as I don’t use a heavy makeup daily and I’m more of a minimalist bit when I want to use a full cover foundation that’s a bit heavy it shouldn’t give me that much trouble. Overall, I like this for everyday use as I use a light bb cream and more natural look mos for the time but I would have been great if it worked the same regardless of what kind of makeup one is wearing. This product doesn’t have an averwhelming scent which I appreciate. I also love that’s a clean product.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Removing my makeup is a huge part of my skincare. This melts into my skin and leaves it feeling plump and fresh. It’s effective and gets the job done. Great packaging and smells great too.
