Good basic toner

A good basic toner. Probably the only toner I’ve tried that keeps my acne at bay. So many toners right now have such large amounts of chemical exfoliators or no exfoliators at all and my skin seems to need a balance. This toner definitely provides a nice balance. The only thing I’d say is this toner can be a little drying so beware if your skin is already dry! I have oily/acne prone skin.

This is a good basic toner to add to a skincare routine. Lightly fragranced , can be a little drying at times. Helps clarify the skin.

my go-to toner!

I love clinique and this toner is my favorite! I’ve been using it for about 5 years and I always get compliments on my complexion. I’ve tried other toners but I’ve never been impressed by any of them. This toner removes the dirt and impurities that face wash leaves behind- without stripping skin or leaving it dry or irritated.

This is a solid toner. It’s gentle on the skin and gets the job done for cleaning any remaining residue to leave a clean slate for any additional products for the skin.

This does work well to get rid of flaky dry skin, however, beware of using this around the eye area. It says it's alcohol-free, which would make you think there wouldn't be an issue but it is extremely drying. I have been dealing with dry irritated skin around my eyes since June when I purchased it (I only used it 4-5 times). It's the end of October now. It does what it says but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. There are better and less harmful products out there for your skin.

Life Changer!

I have struggled so much with dry skin, I’ve tried scrub exfoliating and all it did was make my face so red and made no difference. My face would NOT look good with foundation it would just peel over. I’m telling you this bottle has been a life changer and there’s so much in the bottle I use it every day and it’s lasted me a year, I am just now about to buy another one. I love love love This bottle I can now go out, not self conscious about my face anymore. Before make up I use it and when I get out the shower for bed I use it. It’s awesome!

Worth It

Love this. It gets all of the oils and leftover makeup etc off. It doesn’t exfoliate at all so I’m not sure why it states it’s an exfoliator. It’s a toner.

Bye Bye Clinique

I loved this product for so many years, but I cannot continue to support Clinique because they are not cruelty free. This was the only exfoliator that would remove all the dry flakes without making me red. I am now just using witch hazel instead.

I habe dry sensitive skin and got this after an esthetician recommended it. It makes for a great final step after cleansing at the end of the day and I also use it on lazy mornings instead of washing my face.

Great for dry, sensitive skin

I recently switched to the Clinique 1.0 toner from using Bioderma micellar water (as both a makeup remover and post-cleansing toner). In only a few days, I've noticed such a big difference in the texture of my dry, flaky skin. My chin has always been a problem in terms of dryness, no matter how great my moisturizing habits are. This toner has completely resolved my dry patches and while I can see people being upset about a formula change, let's appreciate what we do have and that's a quality product that IS safe for sensitive skin. For reference, I have rosacea and and extremely sensitive skin.. and the witch hazel in this formula doesn't bother me at all! Highly recommend.

Great for dry dry skin

Perfect for my super super dry, sensitive, changes it mind all the time skin. I use twice a day and my skin feels amazing! The ONLY thing I have noticed is this: if I do not let my face totally dry, and sit for about 4-5 minutes before I put on my Drunk Elephant LaLa cream, I do get slight pilling sometimes. This also could be me using too much product too.. but either way, It’s worth waiting the 4 minutes to avoid the pilling.
