Incredible shine

This quad of her blitz astral shades is absolutely beautiful and a must have if you enjoy adding glitz and glam to your look. The pinky gold duo chrome, Astral Rose Orchid, in particular is phenomenal to add to any eye look. It steps up the shine about 20 notches and makes anything it’s added to just beautiful. All of these shades are beautiful and easy to work with. They are best used with a finger application, and I don’t get any fallout with them. This quad is a perfect addition to any of her Divine Rose Motherships and can be paired with any looks you get from those palettes. I’m attending my (Covid delayed) 20th high school reunion soon and this quad is traveling with me as an essential part of my makeup looks. I love it and use these shades all the time! Highly recommend!

I have blue eyes and pinks never looked good on me before this ! Both of these pinks are gorgeous on my lids, the gold is great on my brow bone and the cognac great for smudging in the corners and creating a little smoke. I love this palette.

arrived damaged

Mine arrived damaged (it looks like it’s been scratched or swatched). It still performed good. Just disappointed it arrived in that condition.

pretty but didn’t WoW has fallout

I’m on the fence on this one. The shadow did crease on me and I found there was also a lot of fallout. For the price point I expected the shadow to be easily applied and stay put. I will give it a chance but so far not impressed. Everyone raves about PML but there are better formulas out there.

Gorgeous palette that must have

This pallet is really creative! You can do a strong make-up for the evening or a soft make-up. very nice and pigmented Im glad that I bought this pallet. I was trying to find a Glitter eyeshadow from a long time and they couldn’t find the right one until now. You can use one color and your done !

Touch of rose gold

I love this eyeshadow.. perfectly for bridals birthday or night out. I’m a makeup artist and I enjoy using pat mcgrat labs Bliz Astral Quad eyeshadow.

wanted to love it but disappointed

I really want to love pat mcgrath eyeshadows but I feel they’re not always my style. Don’t get me wrong the quality is superb, luxe packaging, super pigmented, creative textures, ultra wow!! But They’re not “easy” and take thought and work. This time I got ritualistic rose- this color story spoke to me as I love love pink shadows. Sadly, I think I have to admit mother pat’s eyeshadows aren’t for me. They’re almost too pigmented, too much for my small hooded eyes. On to the Ritualistic rose quad: the glittery shades are super glittery and sparkly but not in a refined way like Tom Ford or Charlotte tilbury. The sparkle is chunky so it’s a look I need to be ready for. There is fallout all over my face and I’ve tried brushes and my finger. Also, This is not a standalone palette... I tried several looks and none felt complete without pulling a matte from somewhere else. Lastly, the color story was a hit/miss on me. both antique gold and astral rose orchid were stunning swatched but I don’t love them On my light-Med neutral undertone. They both pull super yellow on me... and They look like the same color on my eyes. Astral rose orchid swatches a gorgeous duo chrome pink so I’m truly disappointed that on my eyes you can’t see the pink AT ALL!!! It just looks like a stark sparkly yellow gold. I really wanted a gorgeous pink! :( The other two shades are pretty nice- rose quartz (a gorgeous sparkly pinky plum on me)and beyond bronze (a perfect not too orange bronze.) Unfortunately I don’t see myself reaching for this palette often. However I might keep this palette for special occasions because with some effort this creates a very gorgeous look and when the light hits right.... my eyes sparkle to infinity.

I really wanted to love you!

I so wanted to love this palette, but it's not for me. It's SUPER glittery and sheer. I'm #390 in Fenty, and the colors didn't show up like the picture. And the glitter goes everywhere. The packaging however, is divine! The outside packaging is thoughtful and the palette case itself has weight to it.

Glitter, Glitter, Glitter!!!

If you enjoy glittery eyeshadows, THIS is your palette! These four shades are packed with pigment and glitter. I enjoy swiping them on the lid with a finger, but a dense brush does well too. The top right is such a pretty duo-chrome; I can't wait to purchase more PMG palettes!

I Truly Wanted to Love It

This was my first PML purchase. I understand these are special shades, and so more glittery. They’re very pretty, *however*. First of all, these are a baked formula and therefore stiff in formula, and result in a LOT of fallout, which would be fine, but secondly I am very pale and the nuances in the lighter shades didn’t show up on me. Difficult to justify the price (for me), but I understand the appeal. The packaging is so beautiful. I personally prefer the Colourpop Supershock shadows for glittery shadows. It didn’t lessen my intrigue though. I’d still like to try some of the non-special shades. I do believe you sometimes get what you pay for (NDGlam) but this was just not a good fit.

Very pretty PMG quad and it's workable!

I know this Quad has received many negative reviews but I will share my unbiased and personal opinion. I will say that this quad can be used either as a topper with a supplemental matte palette or alone. if using these shimmers/glitters alone you MUST use a good glitter glue. in my experience using TooFaced Glitter glue has made the use of these shimmer MUCH workable and last throughout the day. In the picture below I am wearing all colors from this quad and some highlighters from the Pat McGrath baked highlighter palette!
