As someone who lives in a literal desert, dry skin is a constant battle for me and doubly so during the winter season. After one too many flights with dry plane air, I stopped at the LAX duty free shop and picked up another tube of my favorite lip balm, the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter. This lip butter is big - much wider than a typical lip balm stick. The bright packaging means it's easy to spot in the bottom of a dark purse and it glides on easily. Despite putting this lip butter on hours ago, I can still feel it on my lips. Its not greasy, has no real flavor but smells nice while staying put. It's a nice lip balm which is why this has been a repeat purchase for me.

Lovely scent but that’s about it

This lip butter smells so good! It smells like a sweet buttery popcorn. However, there’s almost no moisture factor and you have to keep reapplying because it dries out quickly on the lips. The packaging is cute but once you reach the end it will have a bit of product left in the applicator but it will not wind up anymore. You can only get the rest out with your fingers. I would not repurchase this lip butter.

It smells beautiful and is a typical chapstick. In order for it to feel hydrating you must layer on an absurd amount. Otherwise it is hydrating and lives next to my bed!

It doesn’t smell very good and it’s such a small bottle there’s not a lot of product

Smaller & less moisture

I used to really love this product but it's become much smaller. It's still decently mosturizing but wears off fast. Love it and will continue to use it, but probably won't rebuy.

reformulated

i've gone through many tubes of these chapsticks over the years. this lip balm was an absolute staple for me. the formula was really hydrating, smelled amazing, and came with a lot of product. i recently repurchased this and quickly realized the formula changed. no matter how many layers i put on its very thin. it offers very little hydration and vanishes off my lips in minutes. extremely disappointing and was a unnecessary change to a great product.

Best lip balm ever!

I love this lip balm, it’s always in my handbag, a good everyday lip balm and works well under lipstick and with lipliner. I converted others to this lip balm because of my habitual use of it and recently bought 3 more as stocking fillers for Christmas. It’s hydrating, smoothing, smells nice and lasts ages.

Bad packaging, you lose 1/3 of the balm at the end

When the lip balm was used to the end, I scraped the empty tube and realized how much product is left and basically unusable I will not buy it ever again. Two grams of waste! That’s nearly 1/3 of what you’re buying! purchase ages

Not great

Smells and tastes great, but unfortunately just doesn’t work very well as hydrating lip balm. Almost feel like it made my lips more dry

A must in my collection!

I love this brand the lip balm is great I recommend and it is good but it is thick and it smells amazing 🤩 I love it but I like the other product because it is more thin but I love this get this product

New Formula is NOT Good!

Bring back the old formula!!! I had been using this for years and I liked the new tube style, but the product is not the same at all! It's thin, not moisturizing and is just overall garbage. I'm gonna have to return the multiple I just bought and find a new go-to. So sad!
