CICA Sleeping Mask – Masca de noapte

New formula isn’t it.

Bring back the old formula!! The old formula in the dark green jar was my absolute holy grail. This new one doesn’t even compare. It’s too thick, tightens my skin in the wrong ways and breaks me out. disappointment.

New formulation is worse

The og was my go to moisturizer. This new formula does not absorb into the skin well like the old one- feels super balmy. Personally am not a fan of shea butter being removed from the ingredients and niacinamide being added to the new formula. My skin has experienced irritation to the new one which is such a shame :(

Great for harsh weather

I was honestly scared this would break me out as i am acne prone but thankfully it hasn’t!! i’ve used it as a daily moisturizer and even tho my skin is on the oily side i live in canada with really harsh weather and this genuinely has protected my skin

Gives me a giant pimple every time after I use it. I never noticed a reduction in redness either.

Love it

Love this affordable cica mask which is great for dryness and redness. Can be used as a moisturizer on its own or layered over a lighter moisturizer.

Still wonderful

I’ve been using this since January 2022 when I got a sample. I use it during the day and at night. It’s thick so I don’t need to use a lot. I was a little worried when I saw that they reformulated it, but I just finished a container of the new formula and I still love it.

 Must have for hydration

Love it, no difference from the old product. You can use in daytime or at night time. Great hydration.

Winter Staple

My go to for dry winter skin. It’s thick and luscious but has never broken me out.

New formulation is not it.

This product used to be my holy grail, but now they’ve reformulated which is SUCH a disappointment. The old was soooo nice thick and creamy with the subtlest scent and now this new one doesn’t even compare, doesn’t absorb well, and feels tight on the skin. Very disappointing

New formula? Not as good anymore.

Disappointed in the new formula. I realized it once I started using it, before reading it was reformulated. I noticed the difference in texture immediately. Before, it felt smooth and creamy. It is supposed to be on the thick side, for those complaining about it. Before it also had more of a soothing effect. The new formula isis not as smooth and not creamy. There is a subtle grittiness to it when you put it on and becomes a bit chalky with a white cast residue. This is the second disappointing reformulation they’ve done. For example, water bank used to have a refreshing light scent and they made it too floral. The old coca also used to have a very subtle scent that was refreshing. Not sure if I’d go back to it once I finish this tub.

Good moisturizer but a bit thick

I actually really like this moisturizer. I am have acne prone and oily skin and this moisturizer worked well for me. It doesn’t apply a bit heavy but it absorbed into the skin nicely. I had no new breakouts on this cream and it help my acne scaring

Super nighttime skin protection

I have older, combination skin with sometimes eczema so skin barrier protection is super important. I use this mask every night with laneige water bank moisturizer underneath. I wake up with very moist, healthy looking skin. I love it!
