CICA Sleeping Mask – Masca de noapte

New Formula is HORRIBLE

I used to use lots of products from Laneige, but ever since they started reformulating everything my super sensitive skin has not agreed with the new products. The Cica Sleeping mask was my last hold out but sadly this new formulation is NOTHING like the old one. They changed the ingredients in the product. It is also near impossible to distribute on my face because the new formula is SUPER thick compared to the old one. My skin had a reaction to the new formulation so I will be returning it- please beware if you have sensitive skin that they changed the formulation. It is extremely frustrating for a brand you trusted to work on your skin to keep on changing their products. Time for me to find other products that won't keep reformulating.

It’s a no for me

I do not like the reformulation. Product is way thicker and harder to spread, which leads to using more. Not as good a value. Also it no longer comes with a spatula. Overall disappointed.

Hate the reformulation

This moisturizer was my hero product for a few years but unfortunately the reformulation does not agree with my skin at all. What used to be a lovely soft cream that soothed and moisturized now has a strange greasy texture and gave me a terrible breakout. Very disappointed as I have tried many moisturizers and finding products that perform like the old formula is not easy.

Did not like reformulation

This was my HG but they recently reformulated it and it feels super heavy & greasy and I think it's breaking me o ut.

This is one of the best moisturizers I’ve used!! I’ve tried many thick moisturizers and this one is by far the best. It hydrates my dry patches yet doesn’t clog my pores. I’ve used it during the day as well and it doesn’t pill under makeup.

Love it

I’ve been using the Cica Sleeping Mask with Centella Asiatica for a couple of weeks, and it’s amazing. My skin feels calm, hydrated, and super soft in the morning. It soothes redness and doesn’t feel sticky. Perfect for sensitive skin and a great overnight recovery boost!

Greasy and irritating, miss the old formula!

I used the previous formula of Laneige Cica overnight repair for YEARS and it was so good, I don't know why they discontinued it! I have really dry skin so I love thick products (for example I do use Weleda Skin Food on my face sometimes) but this product is too thick and greasy even for me. Began to break out the day after and have had to stop using it. Really miss their old Cica product.

Soothing for rosacea

A nice, thick cream for nighttime use. I have combination skin with rosacea. I also use .05 Tret 2-3x weekly and this has been a MAJOR help to minimize my rosacea's redness but also help with irritation/dryness from the Tret! It's thick but not greasy and absorbs fast. A great product!

Calming my Rosacea :)

I experience both Type 2 (little bumps) and Type 1 rosacea (flushing). My rosacea is on the mild end as it's something I had recently been diagnosed with. At night time I have been layering this with a thin layer of the Inkey List Azaleic Acid (which has been lovely). The texture of this is quite thick but not occlusive (yay) quite different from the Water Slepping mask by Laneige if you're familiar with that product. You really only need a thin layer of this product. I have been using this for about ~2 weeks and started to notice a difference after ~5 days.

Thickkkk

The texture is very very thick like the thick yogurt. It has almost no smell. It feels somewhat moisturizing but the thickness makes it hard to feel hydrating and it feels more greasy instead. However, it does seem to soothe redness.

Amazing

I have a lot of redness and this mask was able to decrease it overnight. The ingredients are so nourishing, calming, and hydrating that I just knew this would work. It doesn’t feel super heavy so it’s pretty comfortable to sleep in overnight and my results just spoke for themselves the next morning.

Wow! My skin was glowing alllll day literally wow. First of all everything from them is great and but this mask is actually so nice. My skin felt so soft all day and when I woke up it looked like I had a facial over night lol
