I was initially skeptical when I opened the container. But this brown paste works amazingly well and dissolves into the expected shampoo-like lather. The response to the hair is excellent.

A Must Have for my Hair

I spend time in two very different climates, warm and humid, cool and very dry. This product works beautifully in both. It cleans my scalp and makes my hair have more body and more control without feeling like there’s any product on it at all.

Really Works

My hair had a lot more volume after using, however I'm not too crazy about the scent. If not for the scent I would definitely have rated it 5 stars!

I love this stuff!

I have fine hair and wear tape-in extension. I do them myself which means removing residue. This stuff really helps clean my scalp and it smells great. There is no other product on the market like this. Salt scrubs are not equivalent. Other clay based products are not equivalent either. This one has a great texture and rinses off well. And I’ll say it again, it smells great. I love the smell of roses.

Great color holding shampoo

This is the best shampoo I have found thus far for keeping my hair color from fading. Red fades quickly and I have tried many other shampoos. This is, by far, the best. Not inexpensive but worth it.

Pretty good, but...

I have fine hair with oily scalp and frizzy ends. I've used this product three times, so here's how I feel. Good thing: 1) This product does make my scalp way less oily then before. Now I only need to wash my hair twice a week, instead of every once in two days. 2) Smells good. What I'm not so sure about: 1) Leaves my hair strangely sticky after the wash even though I rinse it very well. 2) Makes my hair a little too dry even with conditioner. My hair feels a little sandy after it's dried, which has never happened before. I can't say much about how volumising it is since my hair is super fine. Overall, still pretty good. A novelty worth trying if you want a brand new hair care experience

I love this line. I have oily hair and I prefer to wash my hair every 3 days... I can wait without my hair looking stringy and overly oily. I have full, bug beautiful hair. I now only use the cleansing volumizing paste and the conditioner! I am obsessed with the way it makes my hair look & feel plus I like the subtle rose scent.

Leaves a residue

I hate how this leaves your hair feeling. I read the instructions (who reads shampoo instructions?!) and followed exactly and still my hair just feels awful once dried!! It’s like a residue. I’ve tried asking the company what I’m doing wrong, if there is a magic step that I’ve missed. But they weren’t that helpful. Unfortunately this product is not for me!

Volume BOOSTER!

I have curly hair, blonde with lots of gray in it now and it's starting to thin. This shampoo is the HOLY FREAKING GRAIL of body for when I want a lot of bounce and volume. I LOVE the classic rose smell, not overpowering when rinsed. I use a purple tinted conditioner (blonde ale) and my hair just ROCKS. I use this about once a week (I only wash two times a week) and I get nothing but compliments about my volume. It's worth the money. Put it in your cart.

Amazing Volume

Adds more volume than any other product I've ever tried. Cleans hair really well but doesn't leave it dry or weighed down. I have thin, wavy, frizzy hair, for reference. You use a small amount, so it's a great value

My Holy Grail!

This shampoo is my holy grail and I will be distraught if they stop making it. I have very fine hair and it has always felt far too slick, in a bad and very flattening way. I got a sample of this years ago and it was magic! My hair would finally hold styles and actually looked good being worn down, instead of looking like a limp mess. I've never had an issue with my hair feeling too tangly, especially since they changed the formula, but it may be down to my routine. I use one of those silicone scalp massages to distribute tune shampoo, only running back and forth, not in a circle. I rinse with cool water, then dry with one of those hair towels that doesnt tangle. I spray a leave in conditioner on just the very tips and use a wet brush to comb it through. After this, my hair feels soft, lightweight, and volumous. Best of all, I don't have to wash it so much as with other shampoos. I've tried this routine with other high end shampoos, like living proof, drunk elephant, etc, but my hair texture still ends up way too slick. Christophe Robin is truly my holy grail.
