A staple for oily skin!

I really like this primer!! It blurs for sure and as someone with oily skin it does mattify! A primer can’t do all the work, skin prep before applying makeup is key to staying matte during the day! As for this it’s a staple for me right now!

Fenty Beauty Grip Trip Review

Okay… this primer is THAT girl. 💅🏽 Grip Trip leaves my skin so smooth and hydrated, but still gives that perfect tacky base that makes your makeup lock in all day. My foundation blends like a dream and stays fresh — no sliding, no separating, just flawless. If you love long-lasting glam with a skin-like finish, this one is a must. Rihanna did it again. ✨💛

Not for me

I have mixed feelings about this primer. It dries up very quickly and creates a smooth canvas for makeup. But this is not gripping that says it is not to hold your makeup long. Weirdest thing is if you don’t apply makeup within seconds of applying this primer, it leaves a white dry residue which I completely hate. I love the brand but this one is a big no to me.

YES for blurring, NO for mattifying

if you want a soft matte blurry look this primer is perfect but if you want to really mattify this is not it

Acne prone skin BEWARE!!

This product contains coconut acid and isopropyl myristate. Both ingredients clog pores if you have acne prone skin. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it's not worth breaking out my skin.

Feels very good on the skin controls my oily skin that I have the ingredients are very little and it sets into my make up so well greatest primer I’ve used yet

Not the old formula

I liked the old formula. This one was too drying, and made my makeup look awful

Very blurring

This primer is VERY blurring and smoothing for my pores! It leaves a nice smooth base and I felt like it kept the shine away throughout the day. My makeup sat very nicely on top of this! I wish you could use less product overall

Fenty Primer

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve never used Fenty products before today. I think this is my new splurge primer. The texture is amazing and works well with my skin texture to make a blurring effect. I think the price is good compared to similar products on the market, and this will be my new go to when I’m not using drugstore makeup.
