Perfect hair oil

i got a free sample of this and it was perfect! I love how it’s silky smooth instead of a little thicker because u can use less product since it’s runnier.

Third time buying this. It smells great, doesn’t weigh my hair down, and does everything it claims.

Nice consistency, but the SMELL…

I saw so many positive reviews about this and wanted to give it a try. I have very curly hair, and when I blow it out/wave curl it I love to finish it off with a nice oil to smooth out my ends. I heard great things and had to try it but OMG the smell is way too overpowering and intense. I love a good smelling product/hair oil, but this reminded me of and old grandmother’s perfume and I can’t get over it. I want to use the rest of the product because of the price point, but I can’t stand the smell in my hair. Wouldn’t buy again.

Light Oil

It depends on your hair type. It is a light oil that smells beautiful. If your hair is colored and dried it will probably dry it more. But if your hair is natural not colored - it will work well. I use it as a body oil. Leaves the skin soft and smells nice.

Great For Hair

I use this before blow drying my hair and it leaves it very soft and shiny. Smells a little to strong though.

I've been using a sample size. while it seems to work well, without weighing down my fine thin hair, I do not like the scent. the pump mechanism is also kinda annoying because it's hard to just dispense a small amount.

Not the best not the worst

I used the whole bottle of this! I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, I have fine hair and this seems to make it look oily in the length even when distributing well. It did smell lovely, but takes some getting used to.

Love the product, hate the smell.

Love the product, but hate the smell so much. I blow dry my hair and straighten it then use this oil as a finishing oil on the ends of my hair. It makes it look more finished and keeps the ends hydrated. I cannot for the life of me get over the smell though. It’s super musky and smells like tulips and old people… lol. I will unfortunately not repurchase just for the smell issue.

The smellllll

Smells sooo good—clean and floral with a luxe vibe, though not as rich or juicy as Moroccanoil. It smooths frizz and adds shine without feeling heavy. Leaves my hair soft and polished, and the scent definitely lingers in a nice way!

No regrets buying this.

After trying several drugstore hair oils, I was disappointed to see that all of them had no results for my low porosity, thick and frizzy hair. Therefore, I decided to splurge on the 30 dollar Ouai Hair Oil. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE. The Ouai hair oil really did the trick to conquer the frizz I get on a daily basis while making my hair look more glossy. Super lightweight, so it didn't bring down my hair. Definitely recommend for those looking for a quick and simple way to touch up their hair!

Drying

Giving this oil 2 stars solely for it's lovely gardenia scent. Reminds me of somewhere tropical. But overall, this oil was not right for my 3c curly hair. When first applied, it feels as if it smoothes my hair, but after a few hours, my hair would be left feeling dry. With continued use, i found this oil to worsen the condition of my hair. Made it frizzy and brittle. Switching back to Moraccanoil.
