I have to return it!

Unfortunately, I have to return this. I’ve heard a lot of good things about K18 and wanted to give it a shot by trying their heat protectant. Unfortunately, it doesn’t smell good (it smells like an expired product) and is very messy to apply — when I tried to spray it on my hair, the product ended up all over my floor and my T-shirt.

Good for colour treated hair

The best heat protectant I have used , worth the money. I’m not someone who uses heat to style hair often , but when I do this is the heat protectant I will use. Found it has improved the texture of my hair when I do use it , my hair doesn’t feel dry after heat styling and smells good

A must have

This is a must have, especially if you have damaged hair. It makes my after shower brush so easy. The brush glides through my hair with this stuff. I love it. I bought a backup just in case it sells out. It’s amazing.

Works great! Wouldn’t say it’s much better than a normal conditioner plus a good heat protectant. Smell wasn’t noticeable at all.

Smells actually so bad

It works great but the smell is horrendous. It smells like a gas station bathroom to me. I have to not breathe out of my nose when I use it.

I will never use another heat protectant! I love this product it protects and smooths without weighing down my hair!

Makes my hair feel super soft when I bow dry it. Doesn’t make my hair feel tacky or anything on dry hair or when it’s wet and I air dry it.

Wanted to love this

Really wanted to like it. Spray isn’t a fine mist so on dry hair it gets wet and feels a bit greasy after. Personal preference but I cannot stand the smell of this product either

My hair feels almost like a new and improved texture after using this - silky smooth and virtually frizz free. Feels like I’ve gotten a fresh Cezanne frizz treatment when I use this. #1 fav hair product

Amazing just pricy

I love this product it really works for my hair type great at detangling and as a heat protectant. I do have extremely long thick hair but that’s part of the reason I am not giving it 5 stars for the amount of product I do feel it is too expensive expensive

Wanted to love it but did not work for me

Context: Thick, coarse, wavy 2B hair (Indian) and I use the K18 shampoos, conditioner, mask, and oil as my go-to hair products. I use the Dyson Airwrap to style my hair with most washes (1-2x a week). I had high hopes and really wanted to love this product because I've been a big fan of every other K18 product I've tried. This product somehow managed to make my roots feel so heavy, greasy and sticky while also making the ends of my hair dry, dull, and frizzy. It looked so bad. I gave it 4 tries with different hair washing methods to see if there was user error, or if there were better methods/variations but it just didn't work for me. I'd hoped it would work seamlessly since I use the K18 shampoo and conditioner anyway. I'm back to using the Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil Heat Protectant, K18 oil, with the Kerastase elixir to finish, and my hair is back to its shiny, smooth, and frizz-free look. I also couldn't find any non-sponsored reviews when I purchased this so that should've been a clue that it doesn't work that well.

No matter how little I used it made my hair greasy and weighed down. My hair is thick and 3c and it made my hair look like I hadn’t washed it for weeks. Just so nasty-I’ll be returning
