I purchased the mini to test and let me tell you I HATE it.. did absolutely nothing for my hair except make it stiff. I skipped the conditioner (as per directions) and I should have known better. My hair is thick and dry, this product had no type of hydration whatsoever. I would not recommended

This product is truly a life saver and worth the price! My wife’s anemic and her hair has suffered because of this. I used this on her hair twice in the span of two weeks and it has completely repaired her hair. She has type 4 hair with a tight curl.

I’ve tried many repair masks and leave-ins over the years, but K18 truly stands out. My hair is color-treated, slightly dry, and tends to break easily, especially after lightening. After just two uses, I noticed a huge difference, my hair felt stronger, smoother, and looked noticeably healthier without feeling heavy or coated. I love that it works quickly (you leave it on for only 4 minutes) and doesn’t require rinsing afterward. A little goes a long way, so even though it’s pricey, the bottle lasts a while. If your hair has been damaged from coloring, heat styling, or bleach, this product is worth trying. It’s like a salon repair treatment at home. Hair type: Fine to medium, color-treated Concerns: Damage, dryness, breakage Location: Florida Would I recommend it? Absolutely yes!

Damaged Hair Only

This product is NOT for everyone and is unfortunately marketed as such. For me, it's a four-star product because of its reparative properties for damaged hair. I've bleached my hair multiple times, dye it regularly, heat style it, the works, and this product genuinely saves my hair and makes it feel soft and healthy. HOWEVER, if you have healthy, especially unprocessed hair, you can do without this product entirely. When they say repair, they mean it, and healthy hair will not benefit from it. If you have split ends then no product will seal them back together permanently and you'll have to commit to regular trims, so for those who rate this low solely regarding split ends, understand that this product (and any other one) is not the end all, be all for that. I only dinged off one star because of the price.

Did not like

I have curly hair so I don't know if it was just not matching with me but I did not feel any positive changes after wearing this. Also super small for the price.

Hair falling out

Every time I use this product clumps of my hair fall out! I’ve followed all directions and given it a chance but never again. Besides the hair loss my hair feels dry and brittle. I’ll stick with Olaplex # 3

Recommend for Bleached Curls!

I was advised to purchase this by my hairdresser after adding blonde highlights to my naturally curly hair. Despite the high price I’m glad I did as it’s really helped the condition of my curls post bleaching.

Recommend for very dry/damaged hair.

I bought this about a year ago when my hair was super dry post covid. This product worked amazingly. I used it for a few days for every wash. After that I returned to my normal routine of Oribe cream wash and leave in conditioner. And my hair was like normal again. I highly recommend. The product does the heavy lifting of sealing your hair, but it won't leave it feeling terribly conditioned. You notice that when you start using your normal routine. I use it now when my hair starts to feel dry again. (every few months) and a little goes a very long way. You can easily get away with the small size. Anyone who thinks this will cure split ends (or anything will)-- you just need to cut that hair to a length where it doesnt tangle.

Temporary solution

After using it for the first 5 washes in 2 months I notice my hair was super dry and frizzy again. It weighs down my hair a lot and cause it to not hold a curl. Seems like it was just a cover up instead of fixing the real issue.
