Not what I Expected

This review is for the votive – size candle. Not what I expected at all. Mine smells kind of medicinal, like it could clear out your sinuses. Not really the citrus smell I was expecting.

OVERPRICED

I bought two of the 45$ candles and are they ever miniature (not even a decimetre in height.) Not only that, this particular scent smelled like I was smelling someone’s freshly-applied lemon Pledge antiperspirant. I was very disappointed. I don’t get the hype.

I already bought it 3 times. So good!!

Worth the Price

I LOVE THIS CANDLE. I bought this for my mother for Christmas, because she loves everything Joe Malone. It is a nice savory candle, which she loves. The full sized one is definately worth the price.

A dud

I love Jo Malone scents and especially anything citrusy. This, howver, smells of ... burning wax. There is no citrus, maybe a hint of basil but basically smells like nothing. Shoukd have returned it

Quality brand but not worth the price for me...

I bought the travel size as a tester to see how good the quality the brand is Pros: • Makes you feel special when it's in the box with ribbon • Smells lovely even before you open the box • Very saturated therefore takes a while before wax starts melting • You can observe that overall this is considered as a top of the line company • Enjoyed the scent as it was unique and refreshing Cons: • VERY small for the price you pay • Other reviews have said they can smell it with/without the flame but I found the only way I was able to smell it was being really close to the candle or after I've blown out the candle after letting it burn for over an hour. * Note: I was just lightning it in my small bedroom Overall, though I probably wouldn't buy the candle again, I will still consider purchasing other products of this brand

My goodness it's small.

The smaller size is about the size of a votive. $35 for a votive, what a luxury. The scent is very nice and this candle is highly saturated with scent. You almost don't even need to burn it to enjoy the scent. A bright crisp citrus scent, with almost no sweetness to it. Tangy. I will be buying this again and again.....but only as a very special treat.

Pretty candle - REALLY small

This is a good quality candle, but really small and expensive. I was really surprised at the small size. The packaging was much bigger than it was.

Delightfully delicious smell!

Fills my home with a beautiful fragrance! I have a candle in every room and its as if my home is surrounded by citrus trees!

Fabulous fragrance

I can hardly say enough wonderful things about the Lime Basil Mandarin candle. Great scent, fills the room, lingers. Makes me feel refreshed and content when I smell the aroma. Very pricy, though, so this is a luxury buy for me, but what a treat.
