Best lip balm I've ever used! The tub sucks for putting in, but I just bring disposable applicators with me in a ziplock. Healed my cracked, bleeding, peeling lips when nothing else did.

Surprisingly good

Wasn’t expecting much but after consistently using it for about a month, it has kept my lips very soft and somehow naturally pink (?). If you can afford it get it honestly

Not my fav La Mer product; nothing special

After reading so many other rave reviews, I was really excited about receiving this balm. There's absolutely nothing special about it in my opinion. And the balm is so "firm," even after swirling the pad of my finger around the tin several times I barely collected enough product to cover one lip. Hmm. And petroleum as an ingredient? No thank you, especially at the price point. Highly disappointed. Actually sad because I was so excited. Love my other La Mer skincare! I did not find the small amount I managed to get on my lips to be very hydrating at all. The fragrance is light and lovely. Very nice packaging.

Smells bad

The mint / menthol smell ruins it for people sensitive to smells

Over 3 months of daily use and not even halfway through! Lovely, subtle minty scent, and a beautiful, smooth texture. This balm even stays on after drinking something. I'm very impressed. I'd rather spend more on this high-end product than waste $ on a bunch of cheap lip balms with filler. In this case, you really do get what you pay for.

Worth every penny!

I have repurchased a few times because I notice the change in my lips when i am out! I use this religiously morning and night and I honestly have never had chapped/flakey lips while using it. It gets me through a Minnesota winter easy! Since it is more pricey, I tend to only use it twice a day so it really does last a long time. It is rare for me to use up a lip product entirely but this one I use every bit.

I loveeeee this lip balm, it’s tasty and when you kiss someone you will always get compliments. It has a slight minty feeling and flavor. Very hydrating and it lasts a long time. It’s really the best, in the luxury category.

Best Lip Balm for Severely Dry Lips!

I have severe Sjogren's disease, which dries out my mouth and makes my lips especially dry. This is the ONLY product I have found that soothes my lips, tastes really nice, isn't sticky and ACTUALLY hydrates my lips. My oral health specialist recommended it to me. Yes, it's expensive, but that little container lasts me about three months or more, as I don't have to keep reapplying it like the drugstore brands. It's a high-quality, lasting product. The content of the tube-style drugstore ones fall out when half is left. I've tried many recommended products, and this is the BEST I've found for very dry lips, especially if you suffer from dry mouth due to Sjogren's, chemotherapy or radiation, or medications.

This little container will last you a long time

Yes it is pricey, but you won’t have to reapply it many times a day. I prefer to use it at night time all year-long and it keeps my lips hydrated all day. On a very cold winter day, I may apply a 2nd time as a layer of protection this small thing will last you months

A review on the PRODUCT not the price tag.

All these bad reviews based on price make me shake my head because the bias makes for an unfair review of the product. The product is actually really good. The texture is very different from any other balm in that it feels silky and leaves the lips looking and feeling so nourished
