Love the burst gel and tip for using!

I have dry and red skin. I have tried many many lotions and night creams and this one takes the cake. The actual device of pumping I gave 2 stars. For everyone who will or is using this product when it stop pumping pop the cap off and use it. I use this in the am and pm and when i popped the cap off of it I was able to get 2 more months out of this product. The product inside is amazing. I have an oily noise but literally the rest of my face is dry and I suffer from rosacea. I use this with the Jart tigergrass products and really helps. I have tried the water lotion version and it is very odd. Usually use that when I run out of this and waiting for my next shipment. Enjoy and remember when you cant get anymore out with the pump just take the top off and get at least 2 months of product out of it.

Thick and hydrating. Use in SMALL portion!

My mum and I are avid user of Origin Dr.Weil skincare line for 3+ years. It’s been a couple of days using my mum’s sample of this Hydra Burst lotion and I am loving it so far. While I am alternating between my other lotions and haven’t used this every night, this has never caused any inflammation or excess oil; I wake up in the morning without any stickiness but plumped sensation. Note that I have a combination skin; very oily, white head prone t-zone, with enlarged pores, and excessive sweating focused on that region. For some weird reason, lower part of my forehead had been very dry last couple of months and I wake up with unusually dry forehead. I use Rose lotion from Fresh brand but noticed this lotion worked way better for my skin concern. Some others commented that this lotion produces excessive oil and I wanted to point out that this stuff is THICK. So if you have acne prone skin, make sure you use it in small portion.

I love this hydrating gel and the whole mega-mushroom line. It leaves a soothing kind of feeling on skin and dries well. It has really helped with my redness/dry spots when combined with the face cleanser, toning lotion and serum. Really like the refreshing feeling of it. Smell could be better but doesn’t really bother me! And a little really goes a long way with this one!

NOT OIL-FREE

It says in the description oil-free but there are multiple oils listed in the ingredients. It caused major breakouts on my skin, so bummed

It’s a decent light weight moisturizer only for hot weather months. In the winter it makes little to no effect on my very dry skin unfortunately. It had no bad effect on my skin with its sensitivities but it just doesn’t do enough especially considering the price.

GREAT for skin prone to redness!

I purchased this gel lotion as part of a gift set for the mega-mushroom line, and it is one of the best lotions I’ve found for my sensitive skin prone to redness as I journey down the inevitable path toward rosacea that I face in mid-30s with fair skin. This lotion (and the serum used before it) are cooling and calming, and my redness is visibly lessened from this lotion. Will be purchasing again! Also, heads up that the scent is kind of weird. I guess because of the mushroom aspect? Either way, it’s not horrendous, and I’ll keep using it because it feels great and WORKS!

wanted to love it, don’t love the glow

Got this in a trial kit of the Mega Mushroom resilience line. Love the smell, I find it subtle enough and non offensive, dissipates quickly. Unfortunately my skin is not a fan. Leaves a strongly dewy look that seems to magnify my pores and lasts all day. Might just not be for my skin right now. It is not as dry as usual as we are having a milder winter and my hormones have been all out of wack so I’ll probably just hold onto it and give it another try on my sunburny summer skin

Highly recommend for sensitive/red skin

This is my fourth tube. I love this because it is soothing to my sensitive skin and reduced the redness in my cheeks from rosacea. My skin has calmed down more with this than any other moisturizer.

Smell is weird, price is high, but redness is GONE

I have and love two other products from the Mega-Mushroom line: the micellar water and the face serum. The water is my favorite, and the serum is ok to have on rotation but I haven't had really strong results. Prior to this moisturizer, I used different moisturizers on different parts of my face, which is honestly dumb but my chin, jaw, and lip area is hypersensitive, my cheeks are flaky dry, and my forehead is oily. And to top it all off, any touching makes my whole face flare red. What can I say, my skin is a work in progress. I agree that this smells weird but I want to point out that there is no added alcohol-based fragrance. It just smells like its ingredients and it honestly doesn't bother me. I love the texture. It's light enough that my forehead and lower face are hydrated without irritation, and with a little moisturizing serum (I use Klair's - not available at Sephora) on my cheeks, I can almost get away with a one and done moisturizer. Which is bananas for me. And the best part is that the initial flush after touching my face to apply skincare dissipates so quickly. I'm impressed. I also like the pump dispenser/squeezable bottle combo. Innovative. However. I went to repurchase this and was shocked at the price. I have no idea what I was thinking when I initially purchased this honestly. $40 per ounce is kind of excessive for the results, which were admittedly good. I will probably repurchase during a VIB event and use this mostly as a summer product when my redness and oiliness is at its worse.

This irritated my skin! Moisturizing yes, but exacerbated my textured skin. Something in this line inflames my skin.

Nice lightweight

Tbh, it feels and smells just like the mega mushroom toner. I like it, dries down quick, very light and does not pill. However, for the price, I will likely not buy again since I feel it’s exactly like their toner

amazing for hot weather

Love this moisturizer for the summer or when it’s really hot out. I have dry skin and this makes my skin feel quenched but not greasy! I really love it but 68$ is a lot ngl
