As a girl who has over 5k worth of makeup let me tell you that you NEED this eyeshadow palette or any of Pat Mcgraths palettes. Absolutely STUNNING. The quality is literally INSANE???! IM GETTING MORE! I AM

The 2025 Palette

This is a timeless palette with shades that are as shimmering and bright as ever.

Not the quality I’ve come to expect from PMG…

I’ve been a longtime fan of Pat McGrath eyeshadows. The luxurious, buttery, pigmented formulas were always a delight. They’ve recently reformulated their old palettes, getting rid of the special baked shades and replacing them with pressed shadows. This new palette is completely pressed shades. I was curious to try this new formula, and excited to see a palette that is mostly shimmers and glitters! However— it was dsappointing. While the color story of this palette is lovely, and the few mattes are up to usual standards, it seems like the glittery shades are just alright. Okay. Not amazing or dazzling or brilliant like past collections. Some of them feel scratchy in texture, they don’t blend out very nicely (and they get muddy and emphasize texture by the end of the day which makes this issue even worse— see my photo), and they don’t wear as well throughout the day. For this pricepoint, the eyeshadows should be show-stopping quality!! They used to be… Anyway, it is a nice palette. But it’s ridiculously expensive for a palette that is simply nice, not excellent. You can get palettes this same quality for much cheaper. I’ll be keeping it because I still like it enough and I can make it work , but is it worth it to the ordinary consumer? No. The quality is actually disappointing.

I'm now a Mothership convert

This is my first Mothership. I have tons of Natasha Denona, Danessa Myricks, Huda, Tarte, and PMG's other eyeshadow. So glad I spent the money and got this. The formulas are next level. The color story is amazing; I will be able to do so many different looks with this. You can tell a lot of thought went into this palette. I am so happy I took the plunge! It's the star of my collection. I'd say if you can get it during the sale, go for it. No regrets here.

Stunning, petal perfection!

I was sooo excited to see PMG launch a mothership after way too long! The mattes are fantastic (the green matte is everything I had hoped for) and this color story is incredibly gorgeous and fun to use! While I wish we had maybe an additional deeper purple shade, the palette is still quite unique and phenomenal quality

This palette is so good!!! The colors are so pretty and the formula is top notch, even without the baked shades. There are so many good one and done shades and pretty combinations to layer. I’m super happy with this palette.

I got this off the Pat McGrath website. It is beautiful! The two lilac shades are definitely my favorite!

Color payoff is amazing. And the colors themselves are stunning. Worth the money.

No baked shades but still a great palette!

I got the lavender case off her website. Shipping was quick! The lavender case is spectacular! The color has a gradient and it was shiny! My favorite part of this palette is the versatility. You can get so many beautiful looks from this color story. It’s very different from any of the motherships. Con is although we get 5 special shades, the only one that seems special is the light lavender one. The others are stunning just not as special. There are no baked shades, but all shades perform beautifully and the high quality is there. I even though the baked shades are no there, the product is still worth the price for what you get out of it. Inde brands do not offer the luxury experience so PML and inde is not comparable. If you’re still on the fence, you’re best bet is to get it on sale. Happy shopping!
