Replica Chasing Sunsets - Apa de Toaleta

I am not getting a lick of summer / mango vibes here - it actually sort of brough on a head ache from the thickness. packed it for a vacation & left it at home - def not the beachy sunset scent i was hoping for.

summer and fresh mangos

smells like a fresh mango on a beach! the mango smell isn’t artificial and overly sweet but juicy and fresh that mixes well with the warm woody florals. so happy to find a scent like this without coconut! it’s like a warm tropical vacation! the mango scent does fade some through out the day but the warmth and freshness last

No mango notes

nothing mango in this perfume... it feels as if it was a terrible miss for Maison. It is more of a fall/winter scent with the heavy musk/sandalwood notes.

Amazing

I recently tried Maison Margiela Chasing Sunset, and it honestly feels like wearing a warm, glowing sunset on the skin. The scent opens a little bright and sweet, then slowly turns soft and cozy with a slightly creamy, warm vibe. What I really like is how comforting it feels without being too heavy. It has that relaxed, dreamy kind of smell that’s perfect for evenings or when you just want something calm and pretty. It’s not too overpowering, but people around you can still notice it in a nice way. The lasting power is decent on me, and it sits close to the skin after a few hours, which I personally enjoy. it’s a beautiful, soft fragrance that feels warm, feminine, and a little bit nostalgic.

Spraying the tester card it was magnificent and smelled sunny and unique. However, on the skin it’s almost an exact replica of Peach Skin by Phlur. The fruit fades very quickly and was left with just a woody musk that sat too heavy on the skin.

Hard hit and miss for Maison Margiela

Extremely disappointed as I always love the scents Maison Margiela puts out. There is not even a hint of mango, it smells of a bunch of florals put together and mixed up like a Molotov cocktail. So sad to have spent my money of this when there’s no mango scent

No mango

Very disappointed in this perfume, there is absolutely NO MANGO note in this perfume. Strong smell not for Spring or Summer

Bringing warmth to a summer scent

It's a fruity version of Jazz Club, and I am HERE FOR IT.

Mango isn’t too overpowering and the sandalwood compliments it well. Something about it is very addictive, one of my new favorites

Completely different from what I have. Sprayed it in my hand in store, had to go bad the next day for the perfume. You do smell the mango and the citrus clearly. It reminds me of a hot summer night.

Pretty but does not last

This is a beautiful summer scent with a light mango and sandlewood prominent fragrance. Unfortunately, this does not have any lasting power. It seemed to disappear on me within an hour.

It’s nice to have but not worth purchasing

I’m glade I purchased the travel size because although it smells lovely and moody it’s not that distinct of a smell from their other scents.
