Flaking and Build Up

Wow did this product miss the mark. The amount of flaking and irritation I've developed after using this product is outrageous. I didn't even realize how much my scalp was flaking until I was at work. I was extremely embarrassed because I could not do much about it in the office. I also noticed that it builds up a lot on the scalp, so some of the flaking was the actual product pilling up and getting stuck in my hair. Overall, a dry scalp treatment should not cause painful irritation and flaking of the scalp or the product in your hair.

No more dandruff or itchy scalp

I struggle with dry scalp several times a year. I tried so many dandruff shampoos even prescription strength. Not only did they dry my hair out, there was no long term improvement. Immediately after using this product, no more flakes or itchy scalp. A true lifesaver.

Amazing but $$$ + packaging is not travel friendly

Amazing product. Repurchased a handful of times, normally lasts me 6mo or so. I use it every time I wash my hair, doesn’t make it oily. Packaging leaks like crazy and is difficult to travel with.

Caused Bald Spot

I’m pretty sure this product caused a bald spot near the front of my hairline. It’s such a shame too, because this is the only product I’ve used that’s helped with the dry flakiness of my scalp.

Hydrating Relief

I was getting a facial done when the medical aesthetician noticed how dry and flaky my scalp was. She instructed me to buy products that first wipe my scalp clean of flakes and then something that would bring back moisturizer to my scalp. The Ouai Dandruff shampoo paired with this after taking a shower has provided me the best results I have seen in my life. My scalp is 90% flake free which is the most relief I have ever gotten. Overall I highly recommend this scalp treatment!

Must have for winter!

Going into the winter months, this product is a must have! It is so easy to use and gives this cooling and calming effect to my dry scalp. Highly recommend if you have a dry flaky scalp in the winter!

Effective treatment for scalp irritation/flaking

I have a sensitive scalp and I also have bangs and use a lot of dry shampoo which inevitably will irritate my scalp and cause it to get flaky. I was worried about whether or not this product would make my roots look greasy or would cause my hair to fall flat, which it did not! I’ve only used it a couple times but it seems to be really effective at soothing my scalp. I still wish it were a pre-shampoo treatment, but I’m liking it!

Winter Essential

This is perfect for the coming winter months. While I have normal hair, healthy hair, it is because of the maintenance and care of the LP scalp care line! I am looking forward to incorporating this into my routine in the colder months. Living in the North East the dry cold air always does a number on my hair and skin. This should help protect me!

Hydrating

This serum feels so great on my dry scalp. It’s instant relief and has helped my hair regrowth as well.

Not the best for itchy scalp

It’s ok. I use it to calm down dry scalp itch after washing my hair. There are probably products that work better for itchy scalp.

Healed my red itchy dry spots in a week

In just a week I’ve noticed a drastic difference. I was getting so insecure because when doing slick back styles, one red dry spot on my head at the front would cause dandruff to show. After just one week, I’ve noted the redness and dryness gone, my head is more moisturized, and I’ve had less dandruff. The serum smells good and doesn’t leave hair greasy once it dries.
