i’m obsessed with this face milk! i’ve been using it day and night and my skin instantly feels hydrated. i use this before my makeup as a primer and it works so well. makeup sits so well on top of it throughout the day love it.

My skin started drying as I got older. Then I started using this under my moisturizer and oh did it make a difference!! My skin doesn’t feel like it’s cracking anymore. I highly recommend adding this to your skincare if you have dry skin.

I purchased this product to accompany the Ilia face cream to help combat post menopausal eczema. I don’t know that it makes my skin glowy, but it adds an extra layer of hydration without causing any flare ups.

So-so product with a social media price tag

Nothing special, and not worth the price. It's hydrating without clogging my pores. It's not a terrible product, but I wound not purchase this product, especially for the price.

bottle is too small

it’s nice & thin. easily absorbed in my skin. it’s making a difference - making skin smoother but it’s very expensive & not cost effective. unable to sustain the price for long term use.

I had purchased this on faith due to product description and user reviews. Used one night prior to bed, then the next AM, both applications after cleansing my face. That was all it took! I was ordering another bottle that next day. Use it 2 x day. I live in steamy, hot Louisiana ( Summer) and this with sunscreen does it for me along with a minimal amount of foundation. Yet to be determined if adequate hydration for Winter. Time will tell. I am 69, VERY fussy, sensitive, reactive skin, but not bothered by this at all, though. I am very fair, very blonde, blue eyes, and I highly recommend this. I have tried SO many other labels, products, actives, etc. This has settled my skin to a great degree. So happy I purchased!!

ILIA The Base Face Milk Essence.

This is a review for the ILIA Base Face Milk Essence. I was able to try this product thanks to #pinchme. First thing of note, This essence comes in a beautiful glass bottle. Even the outer packaging is so nice to look at. It gives a luxurious vibe and makes it enjoyable to use! The product itself is a milky white color and it’s liquid. I pour a little in my palms and then press into my skin. It’s unscented and absorbs instantly. It’s not a moisturize heavy feeling, it doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on top of your skin. You can apply a moisturizer after. Overall it’s really nice. It didn’t break me out and it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The price is on the higher side, but the quality is there. From the packaging to the essence, it’s like you’re paying for an entire experience!

Too watery, dried skin

Does not work as a stand alone moisturizer. I tried this for a few days and it completely dried out my skin. Watery feel, but if you prefer that in a moisturizer, I would recommend the tatcha water cream over this one.

repurchased 5 times!

I’ve repurchased this moisturizer 5 times!!! and will continue to. it leaves my skin so dewy and moisturized and it absorbs insanely well. it keeps my oily skin at bay and works amazing under makeup. i’ve never tried anything like it and unfortunately the price is a bit steep but to me it doesn’t matter since this moisturizer is the best on the market! insanely good.
