Acest parfum reprezinta un rasfat brut de boabe de vanilie cremoase, flori, cassis si citrice, toate acoperite cu iasomie proaspat culese. Gustul dulce este contrabalansat cu bambus si lemn de santal impletite: relaxat, dar rafinat.

These fragrances really suit my mum. The best is peony, but I got her this as a surprise. Perfect for summer this is not as strong as peony on her, which she wears all year round. She likes it very much and wears it to cheer herself up. A+++

Vanilla, but not as you know it

There’s something addicting about this fragrance. I love vanilla scents, but after a few days of beautiful but sweet and gourmand vanillas, I start craving the green edged vanilla in Wild Vanilla Orchid. The unusual bamboo note gives it an airiness, but the dry down is pure vanilla without being too sweet. It does smell almost identical to Poets of Berlin by Vilhelm (Jerome Epinette is the perfumer behind both) but the Floral Street version has a great price point. It lasts a reasonable time, but I love the opening notes so much I don’t mind reapplying.

This isn't a brand I'm familiar with, nor is vanilla my go to fragrance to try, however I got a small spray in the M&S beauty advent calendar and thought I might as well use it. I don't spray much (personal choice, I don't like any fragrance overbearing) but this lingers around a long time. I've had compliments and don't find the scent overpoweringly sweet. I haven't finished my 10ml and I've already ordered a larger bottle!
