After a few weeks of using this eye cream morning and night, I can genuinely see a difference in how smooth and hydrated my under-eye area looks. Fine lines look softer, makeup applies better, and the texture feels rich without being heavy or greasy. A little goes a long way, and it layers beautifully under concealer. This has easily become a staple in my skincare routine and feels like a true luxury treatment for tired eyes.

Heavy texture with mineral oil

I hated this eye cream. The texture felt like Vaseline! That's when I looked at the ingredients. I was annoyed that Benefiance contained mineral oil!! I do not use products with mineral oil or petrochemicals! I would rather have a pump to dispense the eye cream instead of a pot. I gave this eye cream to my sister who has dry skin and she said it was very hydrating and liked it a lot.

Use Caution if you have allergies

I like the way it hydrates and it absorbs nicely leaving smooth skin behind. I have extra dry skin and tap on once more if I am wearing makeup in the evening. However, I stopped using this product because my left lower eyelid skin becomes flaky and reddened, I think because of the fragrance (geranoil). I've had allergic reactions to that in other products (hair balm) in the past. Sorry, because it is a nice, silky smooth elegant cream.

Worth buying it!

I used this product for very long time, but this time I got some problem with it, but the customer service is the best, and they help me to fix the problem. Really appreciate it!

Absolute Heaven for my eyes!

I love all Shiseido products, the serum, the face moisturizing cream and now the smoothing eye cream. It's so creamy and luxurious and does wonders for this 55-year-old skin. I'm completely hooked. Honestly, I look forward to applying this eye cream every day before my makeup. I highly recommend.

Creamy under sys cream

Eye cream is my jam and I have tried and used many. I have very dry under eye skin and this works well addressing this day or nightly. It is very rich, soothing, lasts all day and a dab will do you. I use it all year long.

No Real Difference

Got this eye cream in a kit with the face cream (which I actually like very much). The eye cream quite frankly is a basic eye cream and a bit pricey. It was kinda greasy on my 59yoa eye area, and did not help my concealer wear better, which I had anticipated. It's not a terrible product, I just found it to not really be special nor worth the expense.

Disappointed After Years of Loving This Eye Cream

I've been using this eye cream for a long time and absolutely loved it - it used to be my go-to product. It kept my eye area hydrated, smooth, and never caused any irritation. Unfortunately, the most recent jar I purchased was completely different. After just a few uses, my eye area became itchy, dry, and red - something I've never experienced with this product before. I'm so disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite skincare staples. I don't know if the formula has changed or if there was an issue with this batch, but I can no longer use it. Sadly, I'll have to look for a replacement.

If you look at the ingredients in this product, you’ll notice that some are considered carcinogenic or even banned in Europe. Essentially, this cream relies on paraffin and petroleum — some of the cheapest ingredients used in cosmetics — yet it’s marketed and priced as a luxury product.
