Gritty!

I had a sample size of this. I just rubbed it on and it felt like I was rubbing my face with sand. I was so confused! Where does it say "exfoliating" or anything like that? I figured I surely got a bad bottle, but doesn't expire for months and I see others on here commenting the same thing. Why make it feel like sand when you call it "Comfy, smooth sunscreen" on the bottle. This is ANYTHING but smooth!

Grainy texture

I was really excited for this & wanted to love this so much! I didn’t even like it though, it’s very grainy. My face feels cakey in a way & I can’t wait to get home & wash it off.

Love the coverage in this baddie but hate the packaging. It’s very hard to squeeze out and the price is too much for size

On its own, it’s quite muddy and difficult to blend in. It leaves streaks / and can cling to dry patches. The only way I can wear it is by mixing in with my moisturizer, and I do like it like that. On a positive, it not greasy or oily at all, it blends out to be more matte than overly glowy. I

Obsessed

This is my current summer favorite. I am fair-skinned and was in Costa Rica for three weeks; this kept my skin burn-free and glowing. It is perfect on its own for a "no makeup" look. The formula is creamy, hydrating, and good for layering with other products. Someone even asked me if I had just gotten a facial when I was wearing only this and a little bit of blush.

Disappointed

I wanted to love this product, but I can’t. It protects well in the sun, but leaves my skin feeling greasy.

Gritty texture! Felt like using an exfoliator!

I really, really don't understand the hype. This sunscreen has an unbelievably gritty glitter texture! I seriously felt like I was scrubbing my face with a physical exfoliator. It looks ok if you can get it to not be patchy (perhaps it was patchy because I didn't want to keep blending it in?) but on top of all that I did experience a bit of pilling as well. It's a hard pass for me. Maybe not all bottles are gritty, but def don't blind buy this - test it out in the store first? There are other shimmery/glotiony mineral sunscreens out on the market that aren't gritty that I'd much rather use! In full disclosure, I received a sample of the product, so I'm reviewing off of my experiences with that tube. Maybe it's better if it's in a full sized bottle? Maybe you can shake it or something? Idk.

Gritty!

Just like others mentioned, it is so gritty like microdermabrasion. I did not expect this and feels awful.

why was this so gritty?? it felt like an exfoliating product, i feel like im going insane trying to use this under makeup

Broke me out

I used this product today before going to the beach. After getting back and using water to wash it off I have a huge rash on my chin and around My nose. I only used this and my face wash I’ve been using for years.

Too thick…not worth the price

It is very thick. If you don’t have a moisturizer underneath it gets patchy. I have normal/oily skin. It’s a lot of money for not a lot of product or performance.
