Extreme Mascara - Rimel Extreme

Great for the first hour!

Good quality mascara is something I generally find worth the premium price, and since mascara lasts a while for me, the extra cost if fine for a product I really like. So people often review the packaging, which to me personally is pointless. I just don't get it. The packaging was pretty, and ridiculously wasteful. Though I recycle, I'd pay extra for packaging that isn't burdening the planet unnecessarily. Considering that lengthening mascaras contain fibers which need to be pulled off lashes, this mascara goes on quite smooth. No chunks of fibers that need to be pulled off lashes. It's smooth, glossy and a gorgeous deep black. So it's great for the first hour or two. Then, when I least expect it, I'll see my reflection and am repeatedly horrified at the racoon eyes. I've tried eveything: no application to the lower lashes... racoon eyes. No eye cream... racoon eyes. No nourishing moisturizers... racoon eyes. Concealer instead of just a dab of foundation... racoon eyes. I finally found that applying a generous dusting of powder prevented the smudge, but I have no need to accentuate any fine lines for a specific mascara. Wanted to love this, but it's a fail for me personally.

Mascara is one of the most important makeup up products that I use since my lashes are not what they used to be as far as length and volume. I always look for a mascara that is waterproof and add volume & length. I liked this mascara even though it did not help in adding length to my lashes. It did not clump at all which I think is a huge plus. Gifted.

Loved it

I received this free from influenster and was so glad I did! I loved to try this product and I love the payoff it gives my eyelashes. It’s a great product and the packaging is heavy and nice feeing, great for quick on the go makeup!

Good Mascara

I love the color of this mascara. The applicator is straight and thick unlike the curved brushes. When I applied this to my lashes it made them appear longer and fuller. The only thing I did not like was the flaking. After long wear the mascara would flake off underneath my eyes.

I wanted to like it more

I received this product compliments of Influenster. Pros: beautiful packaging, doesn't clump, natural looking lashes Cons: doesn't hold curl, flakes slightly, not long-lasting Bottom line- this just isn't the mascara for me

Good volume!

I received this product free from Influenster. I usually kind of disappointed in luxury brand mascara like these but this was decent! Good color payoff, but there was a little transfer from my under eye after a few hours. Don’t know if I would purchase again.

This is a great mascara. It is more on the natural-look side of things. It did not add as much length to my lashes as I expected but it does not make them look clumpy it also did not flake at the end of the day. Did not use primer with it.

I received this product as a sample from Influenster for review. This mascara is great for those looking to make their eyelashes look longer and defined. The formula is amazing and goes on extremely well without any clumping. The brush itself is extremely long and a bit difficult to apply so that’s why I am giving it four stars.

Pretty but flakey

I received this complimentary via influenster for my honest review. The product and packaging feel very luxurious and chic. I like how simple and thin the wand is and it does lengthen my lashes quite a bit. However, it does flake and is not as long lasting as other mascaras I’ve tried.

Good, not great

Goes on easily, the wand is definitely my preferred type. My lashes stay super soft all day long, I will definitely finish this one but I do not feel it is one that I will purchase in the future.

Unexpectedly surprised

I received this free from Influenster. I am so picky about mascara and never fully love any that I buy, I actually really like this. The brush is good and the mascara is smooth, not clumpy. It goes on nicely and looks good. I am very happy with this product.
