I bought this has a blind buy and I can’t say enough it’s my favorite Tom Ford it is a little pricey but everyone wants to know what it is women and men although I’m a guy and it is more masculine of a smell but it’s amazing

Fougère d’Argent is one of the greatest fragrances ever created. It exudes sophistication and class. Every man should own this, even if only reserved for special occasions. It is brilliance in a bottle.

A rich classy day or night out scent

It has a very deep, dark but not too dark and yet vibrant scent that actually hold its weight for hours to come. It's a rich classy day or night out especially on a cloudy day or night.

I love TF but this is a swing and a miss for me.

The citrus seems buried under a faint and powdery lavender. Try the Mandarino do Amalfi if you want mandarin, or Heretic’s Bergamusk if that’s what you are looking for.

How does TF create a magic smell?

Ordered this on a whim never having spelt or tested it before. And of course, Tom delivered. This scent is initially masculine, you can smell the woody, warm spice and ginger right off the hop. After about 30/45 min The TopNotes settle in and the undertones come through, that mandarin and lavender combination makes this unisex scent Devine. I even smell vanilla and a touch of citrus. Idk how this brand manages to get perfumes to have such unique and different waves of scent pull through from one perfume. Amazes me truly. I personally love unisex scents and I’m glad I took a chance on adding this one to my collection. Don’t be fooled, you don’t need a lot so yes it’s pricy, but you’ll have it for a long time.

It definitely gives that “je ne sais quoi” aura

I work in healthcare in a pretty affluent area and I had a French patient of mine who always smelled SO GOOD but because I didn’t want to be rude I never asked what he wore. Ordered this without having sampled it honestly because it ranked as the top rated when I sorted the results for woodsy winter fragrances. As soon as I opened and sprayed this I realized my French patient wore definitely either this or something in the fougère family! It is delightfully balanced and smells sophisticated and expensive. One spray is all you need. I will say that at first it starts out smelling a teeny bit on the masculine side, but on my skin at least once it dries down and the day goes on, it opens up and smells softer and more feminine.

Exquisite

If you want to feel like you are 100% that B, this is the one. Every time I spray this I feel like I'm in a YSL Le Smoking, impossible stilettos, and that perfect red lip, even if I'm in yoga pants and a dirty t-shirt. It smells so expensive. Spicy but not cloying, masculine but not rough. Lasts all day and is a compliment magnet. Love love love.

Smells soooooo good! Got a spicy kick to it but very warm and masculine. This scent lasts for so long so you only need a few sprays. Id say this is a good starter scent from the private blend collection

Best TM scent. Sophisticated, enduring

Very unique scent that turns heads (or noses). This scene is being discontinued which is tragic. My fav TM fragrance that is unique, has excellent longevity and appeals to both men/women. Think of a thick forest mid autumn; and a fire burning somewhere in the distance. Very sophisticated scent that wears beautifully. I hope TM brings this back. Just stocked up on an extra bottle.

Pure luxury in a bottle

I love this fragrance. I've been a long time TF Black Orchid lover but this fragrance is far more grown-up and sophisticated. After a few wears, I realized it's probably better suited for a man, but that won't stop me from wearing it. I find myself smelling myself throughout the day because I love it so much, which also means this fragrance has good staying power. My current TF fave.

Deliciously spicy sent. I bought it as a Christmas present for my husband but will happily use it myself if he doesn’t want it!
