Don’t waste your money!

The worst serum ever! This felt like water and just disappeared when I put it into my hair. It didn’t spread at all. My hair always felt like straw after I blow dried it. Not good for a premium product!

I actually LOVE this serum, especially when I use it with their new gisou hair mask that came out a bit ago!!! I actually don't see most of my split ends as I used too!! it makes my hair incredibly soft and honesty it's so worth it if you have dry ends like me :)

a staple for my thick and damaged hair!

After using this product and reading reviews, I can definitely say that it's made for thicker hair types. For clarification, I have very thick curly (3A) hair that's been dyed numerous times and has heat damage. This product seems to be made for people with my hair type in mind, thick and damaged. if you're looking for a hair oil that will add a lot of moisture but in a non greasy way, this is the route. I can see how this would be heavy on more thin hair types. I use this hair oil and their hair oil for dry hair together and it's a perfect duo for me. a little goes a long way and it can be hard to know how much is too much when applying on wet hair. If you have thin damaged hair, I'd recommend playing with this hair oil to find the perfect amount that's not too heavy for you! I think this product can be wonderful for everyone if used correctly :)

I just got this the other day and already love it! It smells amazing, makes my hair look so shiny, less damaged, and makes my hair feel and look great!! Totally recommend.

Great for low porosity hair!

Excellent product *IF YOU NEED IT*

These reviews are aggravating lol. If you are going to be mad about voluntarily spending money on a product I would have expected that you knew what you needed and did your research. This product is obviously marketed for fried ends due to damaged hair, which would be higher porosity, not non-damaged hair that needs a trim. The oils in the formulation are largely unsaturated, with a lot having high omega 6s and 3s. There’s also 3 different protein sources. Great for my hair type and others with the hair type described in the claims, which is why it worked quite nicely! I only used it on my ends which have the most visible damage. The reports that this made some hair more brittle, sticky, or did nothing make a ton of sense if you have lower porosity hair (some even specify thick, coarse or dry hair which makes that more likely if not a result of chemical processing). Those oils are quite large and less readily absorbed for that hair type. Proteins are also not ideal as they can make that hair type more brittle. This is all readily googlable (just ignore the hair water cup test- it reflects surface tension more than porosity). I appreciated the high quality naturally sourced ingredients, contribution to a good cause and lack of silicones/cheap preservatives that Kerastase loves while charging much more. That justifies a price point more than the possibility the consumer might buy it without considering if they needed it.

has a watery texture, the beads don’t dissolve, and i don’t see a difference in my hair.

bought this on sale, but it works well and has improved the health of my hair - my hair is now super soft. I use it with the gisou hair oil and it works wonders

The pipe doesn’t grab any of the liquid . I had to pour by myself . And I am not sure that I need any results .. very disappointed
