Really love these and use them every day in my thick hair! The only downfall I have with them is they start to stretch quite a bit after some use but that could be due to my thick hair. For those with thin hair, I feel this problem wouldn’t be as much of a concern!

Avoid the clear ones s they discolor and end up looking dirty. These really hold your hair in place. Girls with thinner hair - this is great because it makes your ponytail seem thicker due to the dents of the spirals (not sure if that makes sense but basically makes your hair look thicker). But it’s plastic so it will really tug and pull on your hair. Pretty damaging in that sense. Overall if you want a ponytail to not move this is for you.

Not made how they used to be anymore :(

I have bought a lot of these over the years and they were made great until recently. Now they stretch out huge after one use and don’t hold your hair. I don’t know why companies change something that was made so well in the past. I still have my old ones and there is a significant difference. The old ones are made from a tougher, less stretchy plastic, which holds hair perfectly. The new ones are flimsy, soft, and stretchy. Not impressed. Will be trying out other brands from here on out. I’m disappointed!

awesome hair ties

Absolutely love these. Have read other reviews that they tangle in the hair but I’ve not ran into that issue. I like to put my hair up at night in a bun and then tie this ring around my hair. It created beautiful heartless curls. I have noticed some damage but definitely less than my normal hair ties. I’m soo happy with these. This is my third purchase.

do the job

Honestly these do the job but hate how they stretch out so fast and need help unstretching — Hot water usually does the trick but eventually they lose elasticity in 10-15 wears.

These are great! They last a long time and don't crease your hair.

good for fine hair

One year in: these are great for my super fine, straight hair. Better for ponytails than buns- gets tangled. Minimal dents & stay put so great for workouts. I haven’t had luck shrinking them back in hot water like everyone says. They do shrink some, but they become twisted 8 shaped permanently. Still able to use, just don’t go back quite like brand new.

Can't go wrong w one of these. I've been using the same three for weeks now and the coils haven't stretched out nearly as much as any other coiled hair tie I've used before
