Not worth the price

I have bouncy beige and cosy cashmere; both colors look very similar on me and do not appear as pictured. I suspect models are wearing lip liner underneath. The peppermint oil is immediately noticeable as it made my lips feel tingly but I did not notice any plumping effect as claimed. What I did notice was how dry it left my lips and how the product just sat on my lips and never actually sunk in and moisturized my lips the way that much cheaper and effective balms do. I actually had to use a lip scrub after using this because it didn't make my lips soft and supple and left behind dried skin. To me, this product is a minty type of drying gloss product in a stick which I would never use to hydrate my lips, especially before applying a matte or liquid lipstick. I will be returning both and going back to the potted Fresh and Laneige balms which have more color options and actually work.

I love this balm so much. it exceeded my expectations and i adore the cooling effect it leaves after with a nice glossy/hydrated look without being sticky! So pretty and the packaging is gorgeous as well ♡

Accurate reviews

The review narratives are pretty accurate, disregard the ratings. It is fragranced (reminds me of YSL lip products) so if you are sensitive to fragrances, give this a pass. It does give a tingling effect so if you mind that, pass. I got this in bouncy beige, and when applied turns into a rosey nude color on me, which happens with most lip products because of my pigmented natural lip color. I don’t mind the tingling or fragrance. The formula is light and comfortable in texture and feels more like a gloss. I got the first one at regular price and probably wouldn’t have bought it again but saw it on sale and grabbed a couple in case it’s being discontinued. The sale price is fair for what you get.

Feel the burn

I’m kind of shocked with the amount of high ratings this gets. I love Lancome but this balm- is painful - way worse than buxom or TOoFaced lip plumper... it tingles and burns and not in a good way and for a really long time....i have had to remove it each time I try it. Such a bummer bc it’s a great concept and I was so looking forward to wearing this but count me out. ;(

Overpowering and awful scent

To be honest I’m not really sure how to rate the moisturizing affect and color if this product because the fragrance was so strong and quite frankly awful that I couldn’t wear it to test it out. I am very sensitive to smells but my mom and my husband also agreed that the scent was terrible and way too strong.

LOVE

Silky, hydrating lip gloss with the perfect hint of color! My go-to lip product when I'm going for a simple look with just a tinted moisturizer and a little bronzer. Comparable to Tarte Quench Lip Rescue.

I have dry lips and this wasn’t moisturizing enough. Doesn’t absorb into the skin, it just sits on it. The tingle is much of a burn which is very uncomfortable.

The minty tingle is nice but it has ZERO staying power. This product really isn't worth the price tag. I recommend that you save your money.

Perfection in a lip balm!

I got the Bouncy Beige #7 and love it. It’s the perfect shade for an everyday lip for medium skin tones. I love the texture n shine. Of course the lasting power isn’t great but u can’t expect that for a lip balm. Love it!
