So Underrated!

Leila Lou is such an underrated gem from By Rosie Jane. I was initially drawn to it because my mom’s name is Leila—spelled the exact same way—but I stayed for the scent itself. Don’t let the fresh-cut grass note scare you off. It’s blended beautifully, and the pear is so crisp and juicy, it smells almost photorealistic. The jasmine in this is soft, nostalgic, and so well done. It reminds me of childhood in the best way. Overall, this is a green, earthy fragrance with a gorgeous touch of pear and jasmine. Truly lovely.

Lovely scent!

I wear this occasionally for special events and it smells fresh and cozy and the pear really shines through. To me it smells like the girl who doesn’t know she’s beautiful and is really down to earth. Love it.

Been searching and searching...

I am typically a floral lover. I liked ellis brooklyn dear sky and clean reserve's water lotus. And while those two were great... LEILA LOU hits the dang spot. Think about a spring day, walking through the park, jasmine... It's just fresh and bright without being too overpowering. If you're worried about the grass part, don't be, I think it's just there to make it springy, light and fresh.
