Lip Color - Ruj

Unfortunately this formula really didn’t work on me which is such a surprise since I love the non-matte formula of these. This formula felt thin but looked like it sat on my lips, emphasized every slightly dry patch on my lips and was not flattering or natural looking. It even looked a bit patchy on me. Glad I only bought one shade to test out before buying the other shades I like. Will unfortunately be returning (which is really rare for me). If you prefer comfort and lipsticks that mesh on your lips try out their regular non matte version lipstick which i love and own 8 shades!

Perfect Nude

This is a beautiful nude lipstick. I'm latina and my skin tone is yellow-ish with olive undertone, and it looks perfect, not to pale, no to rosy, just nude. It's a matte lipstick but I have not had issues with dryness whatsoever. It glides on smooth and your lips look smooth and pretty (of course, you gotta do your exfoliating and lip balms thing to maintain them that way). I.m almost mad at myself because I love it, and it's expensive, nut definitely worth your hard earn money.

Just a lipstick... nothing special

I'm a lipstick lover, collector and ok, maybe I error on the side of a lipstick hoarder. I purchased the velvet violet color and while I only needed 1.5 swipes for full coverage.... the color wasn't revolutionary, the formula didn't feel any different than a creamier version of the NARS lip pencil. It just wasn't that impressive for the price point. I couldn't justify keeping it because there are no many similar wearing dupes out there. I would skip this lipstick because at the price point it's not that great. It's a basic, lightweight $28 lipstick at best. If Tom Fords name wasn't on it ... this lipstick would average 3 stars max! Skip!!!! I

At first place i didnt like the colour i get, but then also if i've liked it i wouldnt really be able to wear it since it dries my lips so much, that after like half of hour it looks really bad on the lips, as if you've put some lipstick on overdried lips. Also didnt like the structure, it completely Settles into the every fine line on your lips.. looks terrible also on very soft moisturized lips. Wouldnt recommend.

alluring lipstick

i splurged and it was worth it. I got this in velvet violet a matte shade thats close to plum or wine. The texture is amazing. nor too dry either. a beautiful color that pops. I wasn't planning on buying this but once I tried it on I had to have it. People kept complimenting me. I also tried on pussycat which is a lovely everyday color. A must have for any lipstick junkie.

I bought Pussycat, a perfect mauve rose for my skintone. The formula is so comfortable, last for hours and smell so good! Will get more shades :-)

Ruby Rush

This is hands down the best brand for matte lipstick! The best formula! The best pigmentation! Even higher end brand like Guerlain and Louboutin formula can't compare!!! This worth every penny. Even if the price is higher i would still buy it without a second thoughts.

Amazing

I love this lipstick! I've been addicted to lipstick since I first got into makeup and at this point I have almost 100. I stepped out on a limb and finally decided to pay more than $25 for it. I can honestly say its going to be hard to use any other nude lip again. I bought First Time and I am in LOVE with it. It is subtle, but has an amazing color pay off. I will be adding more to my collection ASAP, or whenever they get back in stock!

I'm a longtime Chanel devotee, but have been searching for a non-drying matte lipstick to no avail -- until this. Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny! The second I put it on I was blown away. Velvety, soft, yet stays put.
