Product had marks on it when I opened it, so unfortunately I have to return it. It looks beautiful in the tube, I just don’t want to risk getting sick.

Balmy glitz!

These PAT McGRATH LABS Lip Fetish Astral Lip Balms are quite lovely! I recently picked up two of them; Nude Astral and Gold Astral (I was sorely tempted by Amethyst, but it was out of stock). I love sheer lip products, especially PMCG Lust Glosses (I have a lot!), so these seemed like another PMCG product that I'd like. They feel great on the lips, and look fun and sparkly, without being too over the top. I'd take off a 1/4 star for some very minor sparkle migration around the mouth during wear. Nothing major in the least, but something to keep in mind if even a minimal amount of extraneous sparkle on your face annoys you.

Like Unicorn Tears

Of course this isn't worth the money. If you don't have the money to buy this, there is a much cheaper option that is very, very similar. With this lip gloss you are paying for the packaging and the luxury brand name. The ingredients are fairly basic, which I appreciate. Other versions of this lip gloss contain Shea butter, which I'm allergic to. This Lip Fetish Astral Lip Balm is the most basic of Pat's lip balms, but I absolutely love it. I got the color Nude Astral and it goes on fairly sheer with a pink sheen. There is sparkle/glitter in this formula and a bit of a blue reflect. It honestly reminds me of the Too Faced La Creme Mystical Lipstick in the shade Unicorn Tears. There is a bit of a blue flip in this glitter. For this reason, I use this as a topper over my liquid lipsticks. It slightly changes the color, just like Unicorn tears does. The Too Faced version is about fifteen dollars cheaper, but I have to say, I prefer this version. I really do love the packaging with the pink and sparkles. It is a heavy component that feels like a luxury lipstick. There is only .10 grams of product in this lip gloss, while Too Faced's contains .11 grams. That's more than enough for me. Since I have both of these products, I definitely don't need any more lip glosses like this. I definitely will use every bit of this Pat McGrath lip gloss.
