Perfect for my complexion

I have used the meteorites for many years. This is the first time that I have realized that they come in a compact. It is a winner! The powder in the compact is smooth and mixes well .

Not good as a setting powder but great to give subtle glow to the high points of the face. Use as suggested in instructions if you wish for a natural glow. However, I did not really notice color correction as I applied this upon full coverage matte foundation. Also use a light hand as I notice this can cake up my foundation (which most products with talc tend to do on my face).

This is the first time I want to try this compact one. Natural finish look. Guerlain pearls is one of my favourite loose powder. I always switched between Shu Uemura and Guerlain

Medium

The colours blend seamlessly, the finish is luminous, and the smell is amazing. Minus a star (should be 3) because it does not keep me matte, it doesn’t have room for an applicator so there’s no point carrying it in your purse unless you keep a puff or brush in a separate case, and the compact is plastic.

Awesome alternative to the powder peals

The second-best powder for very fair-skinned, cool-toned ladies! (The best is still original Meteorites, but the compact version is much more practical on-the-go.) Gives a very slightly luminous, porcelain finish without glitter. Color correcting is effective. While reviewers are correct that the violet scent is fairly heavy and old-fashioned, for me that's a plus. I enjoy the retro feeling. My only real gripe is that I wish the compact had room for a velour puff. I would strongly advise getting color-matched at a Guerlain retailer if possible. I normally buy the lightest shade of everything, but in this I'm Medium. The lightest shade is for your true Snow White complexion, and I'm one shade darker than that in an expansive foundation collection (Seashell in Born This Way, for example.) I do still prefer the subtler finish of the pearls, but they don't travel well.

Less is More

I decided to buy also medium although I bought light already. I love it. I have porcelain skin but when I want to add warmth to my skin I use medium. You have to use very small amount otherwise you skin will look dry and not so attractive. Go with Less is More. Powder blurs your pores, evens out your complexion. Perfect.

Not as expected

I love most of guerlain products and always love the look it gives my skin, but this powder made my skin look dry and felt chalky to me. I have used other meteorites compacts and not had this issue and also used the balls. This did not hide my wrinkles as others have. For me not a good purchase. Compact is heavy and made nicely though.

magic powder

I used this to finish my face over my erborian cc cream. my face looked flawless. it had a slight glow to it and my fine lines and pores were blurred. I went on a limb purchasing this because I've never used the meteorites prior. I'm in love. I usually have slight redness in my cheek area and the cc cream doesnt always do the trick, this did combined. not sure how it will be solo on the face, probably just as beautiful. the compact itself is very luxe as well. has some weight to it.
