This is a well-balanced fragrance with a deep, earthy character. I tested this fragrance both on myself and on my boyfriend, and this really confirmed how much skin chemistry (pH) matters. On my skin, the scent leans more toward the woody side, almost giving me a powdery feeling. I know it doesn’t officially have powder notes, but that’s how it develops on me—soft, mysterious, and elegant. On my boyfriend’s skin, however, the fragrance feels much fresher. You can clearly smell the bergamot paired with the woods, making it brighter and more uplifting on him. On my skin, it feels more mysterious and deep; on him, it feels more fresh and refined. Same perfume, two very different experiences. In terms of longevity, it lasted approximately 8 hours on the skin, and that was with just one spray on my hand. I even washed dishes and got my hands wet, and the scent did not disappear. The next day, I could still faintly smell the woody notes lingering in the background. Not unisex to me

This scent is described as a unisex scent but I found it to be more manly to me than unisex. I personally wouldn’t wear it myself but I did enjoy it on my husband. It smells very woodsy and like a soft manly scent. The bergamot I felt like wasn’t as strong upon first spraying, I noticed the cedar wood more and then once it settled, I could smell it more which made it more of that soft manly scent I mentioned. I lives up to its description as "intense"

Jo Malone describes this cologne Oud & Bergamot , as "Woody". I would agree that the scent matches its description. The scent is however very strong, to me it was more of a masculine scent that could work for me if it was not as "intense"...no pun intended. I love when a scent has a slighly stronger noticeable scent that does not take a lot of the product to become worth using. You only need a tiny bit of this scent to experience the scent.
