It’s not that cheap

I absolutely love this palette!!! The colors are so vibrant and really layer well. Is the packaging a little cheap? Maybe, but it’s supposed to be fully recyclable so it’s to be expected.

The green color broke the first time I opened it…a lot of fall out as well. Will be returning.

Underwhelming

This is my first KVD palette. The colors are very fall. The pigmentation is ok. with primer I noticed the colors fade fast and look muddy. The packaging reminds me of kids makeup from Claire's.

Poor packaging but good quality!!

I bought it when on sale. I have a lot of KVD products and I love their old packaging and design. But this palette is definitely good, Blend like dream and so creamy feels.

Doesn't look anything like the pic. More like fall colors.

Greenwashing and wishcycling at it's finest.

I truly believe this palette was designed with good intentions, but as someone who works adjacent to materials recycling industry: this is not a 100% recyclable palette for everyone. Recycling is local. My local recycling facility would not accept this & it's misleading to brand it as such. My recommendation as a designer in this industry: cardboard case and aluminum pans. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable whereas plastic looses its quality over time. Cardboard is more widely accepted by recycling programs globally than the plastic this comes in. These materials would also result in a sturdier palette with less product being wasted. KVD generally has great formulas, but the packaging needs work. Perhaps a reusable custom palette like many brands are moving to?

Good for every day makeup

Love this one. I don’t think it will work for glam but for every day makeup it’s my personal favourite

beautiful for a soft look

if you like soft light eyeshadows that don't make you look overdone, then you'll like this. I love these because they are soft and not too pigmented upon first application. I rather build my shadows up. The shimmers are tradition light and you can build them up. The mattes are super soft and lovely.

it's a good palette

This palette is getting a bad rap for no reason. Is the packaging cheap? Kind of. Plastic is sturdy, but yeah it could be better and it could be shipped better too. The actual product though is fabulous. Easy to blend, pigmented but not too pigmented. I love the shimmers and while similar to their holiday 2020 palette, it's not exactly the same. The looks I get from this palette are impactful and gorgeous dry but really amped up when wet. I highly recommend the palette. I would just consider ordering from somewhere that packages it better.

hot trash

I loved the holiday palette so I thought I'd try this one. no.. just no.. this is nothing close to the previous palette. I don't like that it's plastic either. cardboard is recyclable but this plastic while it can be recycled, plastic is horrible for the environment and most people are just going to huck it in the trash.
