This mask is chef’s kiss for dry or damaged hair. My hair felt instantly softer after one use, and the hydration actually lasts through multiple washes. It leaves my hair shiny, smooth, and way less frizzy without feeling heavy. A weekly must-have for bleached or color-treated hair!

Exceptional

Wow! From when I took the lid off to when I finished styling my hair it was pure luxury. The scent is beautiful, sophisticated and boogie. The mask is thick and creamy. I put this on my wet hair in the shower and combed through my hair ensuring every strand was coated. By the time I got through with combing all my hair was so silky, I hadn’t even rinsed it off yet. I left it on for about five minutes then rinsed it out. The rinsing process showed even more wonderful things like how shiny and smooth my hair was, it’s still wet!! After styling I couldn’t believe how much my hair had changed with just one use! My hair is so soft, silky, shiny, and smells incredible. I love this hair mask and will purchase for forever. I was given this product for educational purposes.

Preliminary results are very good

This may be premature bc I’ve only used it once so far but it did some insane work on the texture of my most awful fried underneath sections of hair. I left it on maybe four minutes but made sure everything was very well coated. I was a little skeptical right after washing it out bc my hair didn’t feel that soft but it dried feeling so smooth and soft and idk I’m impressed. I have straight long hair with an obnoxious mix of very thin and coarse strands that is very prone to breakage at the nape and crown. Am hoping this cures that a little bc it’s been very bad recently.

Dries my hair out. 4a curls and my hair always feel so dry after using this product. I gave it 4 tries and nope... this is not it. And it doesn't smell good. Skipppp!

Wish I could give this 0 stars. Did literally nothing for my curly hair, save your money

Weird waxy reside

This product applied really well. My coarse strands really soaked up the product and the mask itself felt thick and moisturizing. Once it was time to rinse, my hair felt heavy and coated in a bad way. The mask left a waxy film on my hair and was super hard to detangle. This mask did not work for me at all. I was expecting different results, based on the great reviews. I am not sure why this didn't work for me

It did not work for my hair

As a beauty creator and licensed esthetician I tend to try a lot of hair care products. Olaplex is Normally a brand I enjoy using on my hair. Unfortunately that was not the case with this hair mask. I have very long, wavy hair that can get quite the amount of frizz. So when I saw that this mask was hydrating, anti-fried and for medium to thick I thought it would be perfect for me. After using this mask as directed on the packaging and I felt like my hair had a strange coating on it. My hair did not feel hydrated or nourished whatsoever. After my hair dried it looked dry and lifeless. I was expecting to really enjoy this hair mask but unfortunately for me it did not do what it claims. I don’t like to give up on products so easily so I paired it with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and gave it several uses before coming to this conclusion.

Great for my 4c hair. It feels so soft and hydrated. Also great for detangling.

Olaplex RICH HYDRATATION MASK *new item

I bought it 3 weeks ago and I have used twice but my hair is dry and not shine. I normally use all olaplex products. I tried to buy the No. 8 intense moisturizing but it is out of stock. this OLAPLEX RICH HYDRATATION MASK does not work with hair. My hair is curly was shiny but with this product not any more. I feel so disappointed with Olaplex. I have been using for the last 12 months. I have been a great believer of Olaplex products.

A keeper in my hair routine

I didn't have high hopes for this product after trying so many masks that didn't help with frizz, but I was pleasantly surprised. It left my hair feeling so soft and the amount of frizz I usually have was greatly reduced. I found a winner!
