Rose Exposed – Eau De Parfum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Rose fans rejoice! This perfume truly smells like real roses, with a lot of leather, and perhaps woodsy notes. I want to like this perfume from TF but it’s not my favorite to be honest. The packaging is beautiful, the lasting power is there I’m just not the biggest fan and wouldn’t reach for this often. It is definitely for an acquired taste.

Delicious Rose

Tom Ford absolutely nailed it with Rose Exposé. This isn’t your typical soft or powdery rose—it’s bold, seductive, and a little dark in the best way. The rose note is rich and luxurious, but it’s layered with a spicy warmth and subtle woodiness that gives it serious depth. It feels modern, elevated, and a little mysterious—like a rose wrapped in silk and leather. The longevity is amazing too—I can still catch whiffs of it hours later. If you’re into florals with attitude, Rose Exposé is a must-try.

True rose perfect for layering

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The most sophisticated perfume I own. It’s a true pure rose scent that’s stays true throughout the day. It’s a perfect layering scent that you can combine with anything without it being overpowering or easily overpowered. Considering it’s versatile I think it’s worth the price. The glass is heavy and a pretty dusted rose color making it super cute to display!

Relies heavily on leather and black pepper.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Tom Ford fragrances are Iconic and I own many of them. There are a few that I really love, like Vanilla Sex and Lost Cherry, and there are some that are too strong for me. Unfortunately, Rose Exposed falls into the latter category. Now, you might love it. In fact, I hope you do. Positives: the scent is strong and incredibly long-lasting. The bottle is a lovely sheer rose and will look beautiful displayed on any vanity. The fragrance is rose, which is unmistakable. The downside for me was the sharp lemon scent and the harshness of the leather mixed with cigarette ash. For me, even after drying down, the leather and ash remain prominent. The rose is still hanging around but it is soundly eclipsed by the ash. My tastes lean toward cleaner softer scents so this one isn’t for me, and just in case it was my pH, I tested on fabric and had two family members sample as well. The verdict across the board was : too strong, not for me, and hate the cigarette ash. I couldn’t give this bottle away. I even tried my husband to see if it worked on him. Also no. The outcome: “It gives me a headache.” I’m sorry I don’t have better things to report, but if you are looking for a strong fragrance that lasts forever, and you’re unbothered by leather, this might be for you.

A new regular in my perfume rotation

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was not expecting to enjoy this scent as much as I did. It has become one of my new favorites. It has a beautiful floral scent that is strong but not overwhelming. A little bit goes a long way and it would transition well between daytime and nighttime. I love the simplistic but high quality matte packaging. I would definitely recommend this perfume to anyone who loves a floral scent because it lives up to its name.

Worst perfume I have ever smelled

I really wanted to love Tom Ford’s Rose perfume. The packaging is beautiful but the scent was a hard pass for me. The rose scent mixed with leathery notes didn’t work—it was overpowering and honestly kind of repulsive. It felt more harsh than luxurious, and for the price, I expected something more refined. If you like bold, leathery florals, it might be for you, but it definitely wasn’t for me.

The packaging of this perfume is quite elegant, I love the matte glass texture. The scent is quite strong and lasts a really long time. I’m not sure that rose scents are for me, it’s a very unique rose that seems to be mixed with a oud like scent. Definitely a unique one.
