Good on its own, but not as good as with primer

My favorite thing about this mascara is how easily it comes off with just warm water, like it says. It separates and lengthens, but I tested it with and without the Tarte tubing primer. The side without the primer flaked off some, and it wasn't as dark and long as with the primer. That's the only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. It's still a good mascara on its own, but I recommend pairing it with the matching primer (which also comes off super easily with warm water).

Absolute best mascara

I’m already on my 6th tube! It stays put all day without flaking, smudging, or running. I love how easy it is to remove with just warm water. If you haven’t tried tubing mascaras yet, this one is definitely worth a try.

Solid choice

The formula is different than the mini (which I tried first). It is very liquidy. It still holds up great in the water after it drys and I still use it. I just wish there wasn’t such a bug difference between the mini and the normal size.

Best Mascara Ever

My holy grail, go-to tubing mascara. I never want to run out! I’d like to try the other colors.

cry-proof

going through a break up? hitting a sweaty workout class? watching instagram videos of long lost pets being reunited with their owners? wear this mascara. it is life-proof. i have been using and loving this mascara, but i really put it to the test these past few days with lots of tears as i navigated an incredibly stressful move. this mascara did not budge, yet still somehow easily washed away in the shower when i was ready to take the day off. it holds a curl, doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, and separates + lengthens lashes. 10/10.

Stand out with your eyes!

I was given a recommendation to try this product and I'm so glad I did try it. Not only does it lengthen but definitely gives great definition too! Highly recommend ladies! Will not disappoint!

Love tarte mascaras

This makes my lashes sooo long without making them look like spider legs. The formula also doesn’t get super clumpy which I love. The photo is after only 1 coat.

Best mascara ever! It lengthens and thickens my lashes and they look so much healthier since I started using this mascara- I suspect because I only need water to remove it, no chemicals needed.

Awful

I loved the original tubing Tarte mascara. I bought the XL to try and it is terrible. It clumps, smears, weighs down lashes, the dry down time takes forever. Absolutely nothing like the purple tube one. This will be returned or thrown in the garbage. Don't waste your money.
