This cologne is my new go to! It opens fresh with lavender, then settles into a warm, spicy truffle and vanilla vibe with smoky woods. Mature, confident, and addictive. A light, pleasant fragrance that anyone can wear

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I would like to thank Carolina Herrera and Influenster for sending me this sample of Bad Boy Cobalt Absolute in exchange for an honest review. I wasn’t prepared to like this fragrance as much as I did. It’s labeled as a fragrance for men, but it doesn’t really smell like a lot of men’s fragrances. Typically, men’s fragrances smell like cedar or some other kind of tree, but BBCA just has a clean, pleasant smell with maybe a hint of flowers. I would consider this a unisex fragrance, really appropriate for anyone regardless of how they identified themselves. A note about the sample container - this is the smallest pump spray container I’ve ever seen, it works well and makes applying the fragrance very easy. I like this fragrance a lot, the only reason I deducted a star is because I am a bit sensitive to strong fragrances (sneezing, watery eyes) and I found that BBCA kind of triggered my allergies if I applied it too heavily (light application was fine). So if you are sensitive to strong scents, this may not be the fragrance for you.

Bad boy cobalt absolute is a seriously impressive fragrance. It’s rich, deep and confident without being overwhelming. The wood aromatic blend feels sophisticated. The longevity is excellent. Since it’s a small sample size I wasn’t able to use it long enough to get a good feel for it. Perfect for special occasions.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Wow!!! This smells incredible. This smells extremely masculine, but also has a hefty amount of sweetness mixed in with some freshness of florals. To me this smells like Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir mixed in with the original Bad Boy Cobalt. This smells like an expensive fragrance that is addictive and would be perfect for a formal event in the winter, fall, or even spring, due to the added freshness. On average this fragrance projects moderately and lasts around 7-8 hours, making it a great scent. Personally, I love this scent due to the added freshness from the lavender, making it much more appealing and attention grabbing for the both genders, mainly leaning towards the masculine side.

Carolina Herrera’s Bad Boy Absolu strikes like lightning from the storm god himself. The first breath is bold and commanding, like the crack of a war hammer on a shield. Soon after a deep and powerful warmth rises, dark wood and rich sweetness that cling to the linen like the smoke of a victorious feast fire. This is no timid fragrance for soft men. It is a scent of a warrior who has sailed far, fought hard and now stands victorious on the shore. Strong, confident and impossible to ignore. Wear it and you will not smell like a man who asks permission, you will smell like one who gives the orders.

I’ve been wearing Bad Boy Cobalt for a while now and it quickly became one of the fragrances I reach for the most. It sits in that aromatic woody ambery category but with a really modern twist that makes it stand out from other designer fragrances. Right from the opening, you get a fresh aromatic blast from the elemi, blue sage, and blue lavender. The lavender is clean and slightly metallic, almost electric, which fits the “cobalt” concept perfectly. It smells fresh but still masculine and confident. After about 15–20 minutes, the fragrance starts transitioning into the heart. This is where it becomes really interesting. The mineral blue oud note gives it a slightly salty, mineral character that’s different from traditional heavy oud. It’s paired with geranium, which adds a slightly green floral edge, and the white truffle gives it a subtle creamy depth that feels surprisingly luxurious for a designer scent. The dry-down is where the fragrance shines the most for me. The golden vanilla, oakwood, and vetiver create a warm, smooth base that’s both comforting and seductive. The vanilla isn’t overly sweet; it’s balanced by the woodiness of oak and the earthy touch of vetiver, making the scent feel mature and polished. In terms of performance, I get around 6–8 hours of wear, with moderate projection during the first couple of hours. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This one is interesting!! It opens with a nice earthy lavender and sage scent. Eventually turns into a nice calming woody vanilla. Perfect fall fragrance in my opinion. I would definitely recommend. This line does not disappoint!
