I have extremely oily skin and for years I've tried every "matte" product in the book. This is by far the best matte primer I have ever tried.

A must have for oily skin

This is gold for oily skin, I have combination skin so it changes upon the weather, but this does me great justice when used in the right way it keeps your face matte all day. My only issue is that you have to know how much of this product to use, it dries white so on days I’m not doing a full face it’s hard to keep in a perimeter but other than that I love it

OILY SKIN MUST HAVE

I am CRAZY oily. Like shiny nose and face in an hour oily. I used this before my makeup around 11am. Its 8pm now and my nose is just now starting to get oily. This product is a God send, a holy grail. Make sure you do proper skincare before and moisturize real good because this is drying but it is so worth it. OILY GIRLIES WE FINALLY HAVE A GOOD PRIMER!!!

This product is not for “lightly oily skin by the end of the day”. This is for the type of skin that by hour four of your makeup, you can slick your makeup off with the oil on your forehead. This is amazing! I have tried the Gucci mattifying primer and other super expensive ones. This is the only one that truly works. Be sure to follow the instructions on the container.

Comedogenic

This works well in thin layers and after letting it dry for a few minutes. The only downside is that the Ethylhexyl Palmitate made me breakout horribly :(

So stiff and drying

Litteraly so drying, it makes my skin feel so stiff, i do have oily skin and get very oily throughout the day, but this a bit too drying for my preference, it also gave my skin this weird tingling sensation

Amazing for oil control

This product definitely has a bit of a learning curve, but I've tried so many primers claiming to control oil and yet I still had to blot/powder every other hour. With this product makeup in my t zone (which is incredibly oily) wears all day. You definitely have to shake the product, and a little goes a long way. I find the white cast disappears if I apply my makeup how I normally would. If I do notice any shine in my tzone I find all I have to do is gently tap over th area with a finger, tissue, or puff and my makeup will go back to the way it was when freshly set. This has truly changed and elevated my makeup routine in a way no other primer has been able to. If you're someone whose makeup slides in your tzone (especially around the nose) this product will truly keep any oil at bay. It's also great for us glasses wearers who struggle with indentation marks!! This product significantly reduces any marks left behind by wearing glasses. Definitely a new staple in my routine!!

Great product

Very good at marrying, feels tight on the skin until you put your make up on

White Cast

Leaves a dry white cast. Worse than sunscreen. I see how this could be good, because at first it goes on nice and does suck up that oil but as soon as it dries, there is a cast. I am an esthetician and so my skin care and makeup prep is on point. This ruins my whole base.

A Pilling Mess

I only needed one application to know that this was going back to the store. Let me preface this by saying my skincare and skin prep is on point. I have very oily skin and if I don’t prep my skin properly, oil will destroy any primer I apply to my face within an hour (not an exaggeration). I allowed one hour between my AM skincare and SPF application before applying the primer to my face. The primer started pilling. That’s okay I can work with a little pilling. I brush off the little balls and try again patting instead. Now it’s patchy and gross. Immediately no. Gimme my coins back.
