Very good for the humidity

I've using this product for the last week and works just fine in the humidity on Houston, Im so happy!

LOVE this product, I have very thick, frizzy, wavy/semi curly hair & it’s perfect. It’s the only product I’ve found that stops humidity from frizzing up my hair.

Great addition to heatless curls

I use this when I do overnight heatless curls and it makes them last all day, without frizz. I also like how this is nourishing with out weighing my thin hair down, I find texture sprays and hair spray too drying.

I always repurchase this product

I absolutely always recommend this product to my curly haired friends who suffer from humidity frizzing. It works wonders for me.m! Over the years I always try to find something to replace it (I’ve tried so many different styling products) and this one just wins every time! It help my hair keep its curl, and best of all helps tame my frizz from the humidity we get in the midwest. I only have to use a small amount and just comb it through with my fingers and let it air dry and I’m done just like that! Love love LOVE this product and it will be always be in my holy grails! However, I would not recommend for really dry or textured hair, it’s not hydrating at all, but I still love it year round.

Too much of a hold/ drying

I have 3B/3C curls. BB curl used to make an amazing gel oil for medium hair but for some reason they discontinued it and now have this one which was is 'medium to coarse hair.' Unfortunately it's too drying and too much of a hold for my hair and makes my curls too tight and dry. I wouldn't recommend this.

Not great for 2C / 3A gorlies. Too heavy and not enough crunch to keep waves / big curls happy. Such is life!

Amazing. Sets a lovely curl - doesn’t leave hair sticky, definitely controls the frizz, need about a quarter sized ball for shoulder length super dry hair.

Not good , very drying and doesn’t play well with other products . I have very thick 3b, 3c hair , it made my hair feel like straw

Great for defined curls

A little goes a long way, so a bottle lasts forever. This gel has worked the best to help emphasize my curls. I use this with Ouai wave spray

Love! I have porous wavy 2B hair and have struggled to find a product which defines my waves but isn’t too too heavy. I scrunch this in immediately after getting out of the shower and then plop- amazing results!

Did Nothing

This did not do anything for my hair. I got a sample as a 100 point perk, and I wish I could get those points back. This had very little hold, which defeats the purpose of a gel. Even when I generously applied this it did not give enough hold. I have fine wavy hair, so less hold should be fine for me, but this had none. Also I noticed that most of the high rated reviews were from people who received the product for free. I think that's a tad bit dishonest.
