J'adore - Lapte de corp

I was disappointed that this came in a plastic bottle. The lotion is thin and runny and the scent doesn’t last.

Great Fragrance, poor design

I purchased this body milk a couple weeks ago. I was looking for a lotion that could double as a fragrance (my usual fragrance is very soft and this layers with it nicely). I’ve really enjoyed it and my boyfriend compliments me every time I wear it! I did test out the fragrance in-store first, which I would suggest as the scent probably isn’t for everyone. This is definitely a very light lotion, better if you’re looking for fragrance over moisturizing. I’ve had good luck mixing this with an unscented deep moisturizing lotion when my hands or legs need more hydration, so I can recommend trying that. The reason I gave this only three stars is that the bottle is poorly designed, so it’s really hard to control how much lotion you’re getting out, which is a problem for a pricey item (not to mention the fact it’s a fairly strong scent). I don’t know if I will purchase again due to the bottle design, but I am enjoying the fragrance.

Best of Two

This is the best stuff on earth! I fell in love with this scent years ago and it solidified when others commented on how wonderful I smelled and asked what it was. Well, I answered … Dior, J’adore Body Milk I often get this versus the perfume because I love the silky feeling of my skin and the awesomeness of the scent that lasts ALL DAY long. I wish I could afford the sop and other bath, spa or similar items but for now I’ll stick to this marvelous and unmatched body milk I feel Dior made just for me ;)

overwhelming powdery smell

Okay I read the reviewers and they were very positive, so I immediately went to purchase. The reason I am giving it these many stars is the scent. It is such a “old lady like” smell. So powdery, and rose like but not the pleasant smell. It was so overwhelming it gave me a head ache. The good news is that if you like this scent it does last long. (Unfortunately for me it lasted too long) it semi moisturizes the skin, but if you have dry skin you may want to have a non scented lotion underneath. Will be returning the product. I don’t want to down star it too much because I know there are some who enjoy these smells. Just wanted to warn those who do not enjoy the powdery smell.

Not The Same! >:(

When I first purchased this product a few years ago it was completely different. It had glass encasing and had plenty of shimmer. I'm thinking that I was going to get the same formula, but this is in a plastic bottle a has no shimmer or special quality about it other than the scent (which smells great). For this price tag, I feel it needs a little more to offer, like it did with the original formula when I first purchased it.

Maybe the least hydrating lotion of all time.

I can’t imagine why this lotion has such good reviews except that what I’ve noticed in general about how people rate lotions is that they tend to be based on things like scent, consistency and texture, and how it feels going on. The thing is though, neither a creamy, smooth texture nor the consistency of a lotion is any indication that it’s a good lotion. Those also aren’t elusive qualities in lotion but are virtually universal. Scent is unimportant to me. Ofc a nice scent is always a bonus, unless dehydrating ingredients are responsible for it, (They are in this case) but it’s really never going to factor into my opinion, unless everything else about it is independently great. I use lotion primarily to moisturize and repair skin, not to smell good, so I rate them accordingly. (Which I realize begs the question of why I bought this one to begin with and it’s bc I thought it would look nice on my vanity; I’m a shallow sucker, I admit it) The truth of the matter is though, this is a terrible lotion. It’s almost completely devoid of hydrating and reparative ingredients; there are virtually no antioxidants, no good acids, no ceramides, no niacimide etc etc. There are, however, numerous DEhydrating ingredients and they are the primary ingredients. Therefore, while it may feel nice going on, as 99.9999% of lotions do, that feeling is nothing more than an illusion and it certainly won’t last, as this lotion really has no moisturizing or nourishing properties whatsoever. IMO there is no clientele for this product, no one who should not forego it for another, better lotion. Even those who do moisturize largely for scent and do happen to enjoy this scent could SO easily find a superior lotion that actually hydrates and also has a delicious scent. And if anyone else out there just wants it for their vanity, just don’t lol. There are better lotions with pretty bottles and you’d be much better off buying one of those.

5 Star Lotion!

This lotion is absolutely amazing. It is exactly what I expected it to be. It's not too thick, nor is it too thin. I've included a photo so you can get an idea of the consistency. It smells amazing, and the scent lasts a long time, without being to weak or too overpowering. It's not greasy at all. Whenever I apply a lotion, I would say about 75% of the time I end up washing my hands afterward because the lotion feels too greasy for me, but in the case of this lotion, it's so soft and silky that it feels great on my hands! I wouldn't recommend it for someone who needs some serious skin love, because it's not thick or super hydrating, but this is exactly what I anticipated, because this is more of a novelty lotion. The only issue I take with it is the shape of the bottle, which is not exactly conducive to applying the lotion once you have it on your hands, as it slips out of your hands almost every time you go to put it down if you don't get a really good grip on it, but, I didn't find this irritating enough to dock even half of a star. This lotion is absolutely wonderful, and I think the price is exactly right! I recommend it 100%!

Jasper lotion

This quality and aroma of this Dior lotion is classic and subtle. The essence ensures all day and into the next if you don’t bathe it off. My favorite

Smells stay longer time on the skin compared to perfume. This body mil has powdery smell. good moisturizer for skin.

Love this scent! Smells even better than the perfume...and a little goes a long way, so it should last.
