You’re better off getting Clinique take the day off make up remover instead. It’s way stronger and helps remove waterproof makeup with ease. This really only helps remove non stubborn makeup.

Best eye makeup remover ever!

I’ve been using this since I was a teenager in the 1980’s. It’s the only makeup remover that doesn’t burn and I love not having that weird oily film. I mainly use it to clean up under my eyes with a Qtips after washing my face. afterqtip

Buy a different product.

I tried this when I could no longer find the purple bottle available. Both times my eye lids became inflamed swollen and itchy for days afterward. I do not have sensitive skin by any means. Very disappointed!

Fits right into my routine!

I picked this one after reading that its good for touch ups because it doesn't leave an oily residue. This worked great to remove all my eye makeup *I dont wear waterproof mascara so I can't comment on that* but this left no residue, I used a makeup eraser cloth, left my contacts in and had no irritation! It looked like I just did my face makeup and left my eyes bare. It also did not leave black mascara residue under my eyes either! Wish they had this one in a larger bottle!

Must have!

Waterproof mascara was always a pain because of the removal process with oily make up removers. This product is like water and gets ALL the make up off. Definitely worth it.

Good for it purpose

It is super heavy and oily, really good for difficult make up to clean. I recommend using it for eye make up like eye liner or mascara. And after it, clean again with a non oily face cleaner.

Great for contact lenses

This is my favorite contact lens safe makeup remover I’ve found. I don’t use it for all my eye makeup (I’ll use micellar water) but this gets off the stubborn eyeliner/mascara residue that nothing else can get off. I haven’t found anything that it can’t remove. It does sting a little if you get it in your eyes but that’s easy to avoid. If you can’t use oil based makeup removers or want one for touch ups I’d definitely recommend this one!

Horrible product - does not remove Clinique mascara

Stings!

I really do not like this product, it stings my eyes and doesn’t do as good of a job as Clinique “take off the day” makeup remover. That one is amazing, doesn’t sting and works quickly. Really wish I hadn’t purchased such a big bottle of this one.

Been using it for years. It is the best! I have issues with my eyes, and it does not burn or sting at all. Not oily. Does a thorough job and gently removes eye makeup.

Absolutely love this product. I started using it when I had lash extensions. I no longer do, but I've continued using it because it does exactly what it needed to, WITHOUT stinging my eyes, or leaving any oily residue. Usually I cleanse my entire face with Philosophy's Purity Cleanser, then use a tiny bit of this on a pad to remove the last remnants of my eye makeup. Love it!

Unable to completely remove mascara

I'll give two stars because it can't be completely clear mascara. Eye shadow can be removed completely, but mascara cannot. There will be some mascara residue on my eyelashes. I think another product in a purple bottle is better.
