My favorite blush for the last few years

I’ve used this duo about 3-5x a week for the last 3 years and am just barely starting to hit pan on it. I ended up getting rid of my other blushes since this is the only one I consistently use. The formula is baked, so you have to use a dense brush to pick up the powder (I use the IT cosmetics kabuki but have also used a dense foundation brush). I start with the more beige color towards the back of my cheek and the pinker color on the center, but then I swirl around in both colors and blend it all together. I end up with a very easily blended, sheer, fresh, lively, natural look on my cheeks. When I’m feeling rushed or lazy, I skip starting with separate colors and just go in with both colors on my brush and it still looks good. Since I do not want a targeted, stark, or vibrant blush application, this blush works perfectly for me. It gives me such a healthy look, that depending on my mood or how lazy I’m being, I can even buff it around the forehead/nose a bit and skip bronzer altogether. Cons are that if you have oils on your brush, it can get hard pan over time, but it is easy to remove using tape without wasting much product (I’ve only had to do this twice over the years). Another con is that powder sticks to the metal around the pans, so if you keep swirling the two together, eventually the metal doesn’t look clean. If it bothers you, it’s easy to wipe off with a kleenex. For reference, I have relatively light-medium neutral skin (Armani luminous silk 5.5, nars light reflecting L4/M1.2, Chanel Les Beiges medium-light) and I don’t consider this a highlighter; it’s a blush to me since both the colors are too dark to be a highlight on my skin. I probably would not recommend the blush if you are much darker than me, because it probably wouldn’t show up well (maybe then it would highlight though?). I think the price went up since I purchased it a few years ago, but I love it, and it has lasted for a few years, so it’s worth it to me, and I will be repurchasing.

I was shocked, but in the BEST way.

I have red hair & I'm a guy. Like to use blush for conturing around my receding hairline so it looks a bit more natural. This does the job effectively. --- Also, my eyes alternate between blue & green. Like to use it on the outer corners to give me eyes that extra POP, but in a subtle way. This product really did the job. -- In regards to price, you get what you pay for a lot of the time. After working an 8hr shift serving tables & getting home 2.5 hrs afterwards, the product was still perfectly placed. I was truly SHOCKED about that. --- As for other comments on drying out in the pan, I have always used a denser brush for picking up the product & initial application since this is more on the subtle side & then a softer or fluffy brush for spreading. After 3.5 months, have had no issues with drying. -- Also love using a brush and placing in center of pan to pick up both colors for the duel effect while also not mixing the colors in the pan. -- In summary.... love it's staying power even when working at my job (2.) love how it can be multi purpose (3.) love the design of the compact itself so that you can pick up both colors on 1 brush w/o mixing tue colors in the pan. (4.) love it's enhancing effect it has on your natural futures.

Expensive, but I love it!

The best way for me to describe this color is youthfulness. It gives this beautiful vibrant yet soft color to the cheeks that makes you look fresh and young. If you are in your 30’s, 40’s or more, you need it! The formula is weird, yes it became a little dry, but if you scratch the top layer when it happens, just a little but, you’ll have again a brand new product. I own a ton load of blushes, and this color for my fair-light neutral skin, is perfection! I gave it 4 stars because it’s so pricey!

disappointing formula

So far I’ve had this blush for about 3 months and it feels like it dried out and hardened. Is very hard to pick the product up even with a denser brush. This happened to me before with other TF blush duos that came out in the same formula/packaging. I’d say they start off great and then just dry out and don’t work as well after a couple of month. I personally don’t think this is worth the investment.

I call it my plumper blush

This is a beautiful light blush that just gives a natural plump effect to the cheeks.The only negative is not enough product for the price,but hey it’s Tom Ford.

Did not meet my expectation

I purchased this as soon as it arrived online - fully expecting to love it. I am fair-neutral and I had to apply multiple (3-4) layers for the blush to be visible; conversely, the highlighter is too dark and leaves a cast. It doesn’t last long. This item is overhyped.

Beautiful Blush!

Beautiful blush! Can’t stop using this. The formula is perfect and the colors are wonderful. It’s not very pigmented which I like in blush but can be built up. I mix both colors.

Subtle but beautiful!

I was worried this would not work on my medium skin tone but I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to apply a few layers to get the color to show, but when I did it was quite beautiful.
