Absolutely love! It smells amazing and make my hair super silky afterwards! It’s not heavy so it also doesn’t weigh your hair down.

Not light weight at all… I have fine bleach blonde hair and it made my hair sticky. Also the packaging is leaky.

Lightweight oil that leaves my hair so soft and shiny (without looking oily!!) It is also extremely versatile as a hair oil; highly recommended!

Got me greedy

The best hair oil. My mom came to visit me and used the last of my bottle and I gave her some attitude “you used up my goood hair oil?” She deserves a whole bottle, truly, but I’s shamed this stuff turned me greedy! Overall though for how good it is, the size and price is reasonable. I’m in my 40’s and noticed the ends of my hair and texture is changing (dry frizzy ends).I also have oily roots so it’s hard to fine balancing products This helps the ends look smooth, shiny healthy and nourished without making everything else oily. It says it’s a heat protector but I primarily use it on ends when I’ve washed hair/ blow dried or I am on day two hair.

it’s a good light weight hair oil especially if you have thinner hair and don’t want oily hair as a result of this but still wanna keep that static and dryness down!

Silicones are NOT Clean!

This product claims to be "clean," yet it contains two different silicones and a hydrocarbon that is not biodegradable. These ingredients are terrible for the environment.

Light styling oil, poor bottle design

I have a lot of fine hair (Asian hair) and normally blow-dry my hair. This styling oil is okay - it’s not exceptional in the sense that I don’t feel it’s done anything for my hair, but it hasn’t negatively affected my hair either. Light scent, not too oily but beware of using any more than 3 pumps (it gets greasy quickly after that, which is fair enough considering instructions are to use 2 ish pumps). One thing that I REALLY didn’t like was the bottle itself. It leaks so much, and doesn’t pump well - maybe I just got a faulty one but this product overall wasn’t a hit.

Hair saver

I have frizzy dull post menopausal hair. I tried tons of different potions and nothing seemed to work. I bought this oil and it made a huge difference.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Wow! I have been pretty impressed by Amika products and this oil is no exception. Scent is great, provides a great slip without being heavy on my fine hair. I like to use it (sparingly) on dry hair after styling or on damp hair when I need a little moisture. An overall win!
