A great on the go alternative

At first glance I wasn't that impressed with them when I received them. But, I was impressed after all. These are okay especially if you are in a pinch and you happen to have these in your bag. It does apply the products evenly and I actually enjoyed using the product as a blotting sponge. They work really well especially in the summer when you are at an outdoor event and you need to blot. Love that they come in a case, great for throwing in your purse or backpack. I wouldn't depend on these for a full face quick application given they are quite small and it would take long depending on how many products you use, but again, they are great for last minute applications or touch ups throughout the day. Overall, price is good, the travel case comes in handy and I do like that they come in a pack versus just one.

Great Quality and Control

I love these mini puffs. There are four in the cute little clear plastic box they came in. These mini puffs feel nice and high quality. I have combo-oily skin and I love that they only cover the parts I want to mattify. That’s mostly my T-zone. Each puff fits perfectly around my nose, between my eyebrows, and under my eyes. It has a sleeve that slips nicely onto my small index finger which makes it easy to apply and control. The material is soft, cushy, and feels nice on the skin. It’s well-made and not thin or flimsy like others I’ve tried. It even bounces very lightly when I tap. It actually makes it a little fun to use. Another thing I love is it doesn’t soak up product. My powder stays on the surface. It presses everything in clean and smooth. No cakey look and no harsh lines. It’s very easy to control or work with. It’s tiny but effective. A little tap here and there is all I need. Definitely a keeper.

The sponge is very soft to the touch and picks up a great amount of product. I also noticed that it distributed your product very evenly once applied. It’s a great mini-size for travel or even for your regular makeup routine.

At first, I used the sponge dry to apply concealer. The coverage was pretty solid, and I liked how quick and easy it was to blend everything in. Sometimes I just use my fingers when I’m in a rush, so this felt like a great substitute—way more put-together without the extra effort. Then I tried it damp and 🤏🏿 I wasn’t sure how the sponge would hold up because of the little insert for your finger on the back, but the damp application made my concealer look light, natural, and blended beautifully. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Now, about that insert… I’m not a fan. It tends to slip off, especially if you have nails. I found myself holding the bottom of the sponge with my thumb to keep it in place. The design could use some improvement in that area, but the sponge itself? Chef’s kiss. It also works great for setting powder.
