Wonderful dewy foundation!!!!!!! Good color and smell

Needs a lighter shade

Amazing foundation! So flawless with an airbrush look and stays on all day. Looks so natural on the skin and looks even better when used with the La mer powder. However, they need a lighter shade. Even this shade is too dark for me. Brands these days really need to expand shades for pale people.

Very noticeably breaks down on the skin

Simply does not hold up well. After a very short amount of time the foundation very noticeably breaks down on the skin with or without setting powder.

Another winner from La Mer

I picked this up at the recent sale and am so happy that I did! I have used La Mer’s soft fluid liquid for over a year (I wear the shade ‘Creme’ in that one, which is a fair warm shade, but I wanted to get a more portable foundation for upcoming summer travel). This foundation is perfect. I bought it in Warm Porcelain, which matches me well right now, and i’ll probably order a darker one for when I get a little bit darker this summer. It smooths on easily with the puff. It’s not overly dewy. It just looks like I have perfected skin. The coverage is light which is what I prefer as I am starting to get fine lines and just need a bit of evening out. It does not settle into fine lines nor cling to dry patches, and it only gets slightly glowy in my t-zone by afternoon (but only if I forget to powder). I have used it nonstop since I received it, but I tried the La Mer fluid the other day and realized it has a much dewier finish on me than the cushion. I also get more coverage from the fluid, though, so that could be the reason it looks dewier. So, I’ll save my fluid for fall and winter and wear the cushion in late spring and summer. La Mer has winners with their two foundations, and I hope they never discontinue them! For reference, I wear a mixture of Armani LSF in #2

truly a miracle

This is honestly my favorite foundation ever. I hate that it is though because it is so expensive. It doesn’t break me out when almost every other foundation does. The coverage can be built up but I like a light coverage. It is radiant but also matte. The shade range could be better but I found one that works for me. I don’t find the fragrance to be overwhelming and it does not linger for me. The cushions are soaked in product so I imagine it would last quite some time. I will be repurchasing for sure. I have very dry sensitive skin.

Worth the splurge!

Loving this cushion foundation! It goes on like a dream and gives me healthy glowing skin which is great for my dry skin. The shade is a tad bit light currently since I still have a slight summer tan, but it is easy to fix by warming the color with some benefit hoola lite bronzer and blush. Since using this foundation my skin looks and feels healthier, smoother, and radiant. Totally recommend this for those with dry sensitive skin.
