Cashmere Mist - Eau De Toilette

Timeless

I’m 35 and have been wearing this on and off since high school. I don’t consider this an “old lady” scent at all (taste is subjective I suppose?). If you don’t care for those cloying fruity florals that every brand seems to put out, give this a try. A little goes a long way but it is warm, sexy, and comforting all at the same time. It is floral but not overwhelming or headache inducing as some jasmine/lily perfumes can be. It’s blended well so that you can’t really pick out one note, it all works together seamlessly. I get the most compliments when I wear this. Try the deodorant too!

Bold, intense, strong, aggressive. Not really too feminine.

It’s beautiful and clean. It is powdery, but I actually enjoy it in this one.

just not for me

I wanted to love this ... but I guess it doesn’t mix with my body chemistry well. I loved the magazine sample, but I don’t like this on me. My search continues for a go - to scent!

Didn't live up to the hype

I was disappointed this scent, as I consider it to be a somewhat of a modern day staple. I sampled this product recently and did not like it at all. It smelled very heavy on the alcohol and very cheap to me. The only redeeming feature may have been that the scent lasted a long time - but then again, who wants to smell that cheap scent for a long time?

Men Love This One!

I've owned 30 different fragrances in my years of perfume collecting, this was one of the very first. Out of all of them, this is the one I get the most compliments on. Especially men! My man, strangers, friends. It's the most feminine, soft, powdery, warm fragrance. A timeless classic! Every woman should own a bottle of Cashmere Mist <3

Warm, Spicy, Powdery, Musk

I tried this on in the store the other day and here are my impressions: It started out quite spicy and musky at first spritz. My friend and I thought it smelled like cinnamon at first, though it is not one of the perfume's notes. After a few minutes the spiciness dried down to a warm powdery musk that overwhelmingly reminded me of my mother. She wears Coty Vanilla Musk and Jovan White Musk, so that's what this reminds me of, but Cashmere Mist is more powdery and less intense than either. Cashmere Mist reminds me of a cross between a creamy musk and baby powder. It is a warm, comforting scent. If I had to describe it in one word, I would say it is "maternal." It is a grown up fragrance. I'd recommend it for women 25+ and think it would be lovely on a woman in her 40's and 50's. I can't really picture a woman younger than 25 wearing this. It would make a good everyday fragrance.

It depends!

Dk Cashmere mist is a clean, delicate scent, yet noticeable and long lasting. The theory of " powdery old lady smell" can be determined by YOUR ENTIRE STYLE THAT DAY! because if you use it with trendy elegant outfit, people will like it, and consider it part of being delicate and elegant that day! But if you ware it with boring, or cheap looking styles, YOU will trigger the idea of "old lady" SO if you personally like it and know what you gonna ware with, trust yourself! But I still consider it better for day time, fantasy offices, or casual evenings.

Cashmere Mist Eau De Toilette is my one and only

I've been wearing Cashmere Mist Eau De Toilette daily for decades and will never change. I prefer the soft scent of a bath spray over the Eau de Parfum. Scents can be overwhelming on women but this is light and fresh (read description). Suggest you forget the reviews about 60+ and Grandma. This is timeless and I've gotten many compliments from men since day one!
