My skin is mixed, with a tendency to an oily t- zone, that caused my makeup to look cakey and with a lot of texture after a couple of hours; someone reccommended me this primer, and omg, my makeup now lasts all day and it looks great. It is now part of my all time favorites!!! Totally recommend!

A really good primer for Combo skin, NOT oily.

The performance of the primer is actually very good. It kept my foundation from creasing into my fine lines, and hydrated it so I didn't feel tight throughout the day during the winter. HOWEVER, I feel like if you were oily you would HATE this. It barely did any oil control on my central t zone at all. My nose and inner cheeks were slick and oily after half of the day of wear, and my foundation started to come off and lose coverage around those areas. The rest of my face was flawless however, since I'm not oily on my forehead or chin. Kept it moisturized very well till the end of the day. I would probably be more oily if I did heavier skincare underneath as well. But it did it's job in lightly mattifying the skin to give my foundation a more natural finish, and had a decent grip when applying it; Making it very easy to buff my foundation. Overall, definitely recommend this to my combo girlies, you're going to really like this.

this primer is awesome the packaging is glass and feels very luxury. it makes my makeup last and mattifies everything. it is definitely worth the price P.S i believe this primer is silicone based Ps

Not long lasting, everything slides around, and always manages to break me out. There are better products out there.

Best matte primer on the market. I just wish it wasn’t in a glass bottle because I always end up breaking mine

Consistent repurchase

I love this primer and have repurchased many times. It is perfect for my oily skin. It’s not overly mattifying, but creates a beautiful base. It doesn’t pill over my sunscreen either. It has a watery texture, which I prefer. Overall, it’s just a good consistent product. I’ve even tried others and come back to this one.

This is my favourite primer , i love the consistency and it’s perfect for combination skin. My makeup looks intact all day and night.

There are better alternatives.

Reviewing after trying the small version and loving it, to getting this size and about halfway, figured I was over it. This WAS a good product for my oily skin, it helped it a little. Keep in mind I didn’t wear makeup with this, I only put it on after skincare to help with my oiliness. Sometimes when applying with my fingers, it would leave an odd (and honestly weird) residue on them?? This was on multiple occasions. I’m unsure if it’s because I didn’t let my skincare settle long enough before putting this on or what. I use elf putty primer and it doesn’t do this to me. Either way, if y’all are really oily and not necessarily looking for a primer (though it constitutes as one as well), I recommend Danessa Myrick’s blurring balm in universal. I dab some on my t-done, nose, and the area around my mouth, and it actually stopped my oiliness.
