Broke me out

As much as I want to love this moisturizing Gel cream, it broke me out on areas I don’t usually get pimples. I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I guessed I have to return it. :(

A great, light moisturizer

This is a great moisturizer that does not disappoint. The consistency is very soft and gel-like, and absorbs beautifully into my skin. I also like that it does not leave any residue or film behind (a problem I encounter with most moisturizers). I have also experienced no problems with this product irritating my skin or causing breakouts. It’s just very nice and lightweight, and since my skin tends to fall more towards the oily side this works wonderfully for my skin type. I personally love Shiseido products and how they work with my skin, and this is another one that I now use faithfully!

A little goes a long way

This is hands down the best moisturizer I’ve ever tried. It’s light but gets the job done. I’m in Ohio which is very cold and dry. It works like a charm.

Long Time Love!

This absolutely needs to be talked about more! I will NEVER use another moisturizer again. I love the whole Pureness line, it keeps my skin clear. And this is the finishing touch for no makeup days or the start of flawless dewy looking makeup. This is definitely for dry skin like mine, because it gives you a dewy glow/sheen. Think Victoria's Secret model. People with dry skin would love the matte moisturizer, my boyfriend with oily skin adores it! Shiseido has the best skin care, hands down. Don't sleep on it!

everyday lightweight moisturizer

This is one of my favorite clean feeling moisturizers. This serves as a great hydrating base for makeup and feels like water on the skin. I can keep lathering as much of this on my face as I’d like and it never feels heavy, however if you need a deep intense hydration this may be too lightweight for you as it will not give the same effect as a facial oil or something of that sort. I use this morning and night, and I find the price to be very reasonable especially considering the brand. This is also one of the ONLY moisturizers that does not break me out/ give me texture/ clog my pores.

Great and lightweight formula

Great for day wearer, light weight for wearing under sunscreens!!

This lotion was nice very light with a clean smell. It literally felt like a drink of water for your skin. It just didn't really wow me though

I have oily skin and this left my face sticky and shiny. I couldn't return it in time so I end up using it as a "throw away" product. As in, if I have a peel done and just need a moisturizer that isn't my nicer moisturizers. The scent is pretty strong and I remember that the jar is smaller than I thought it was going to be.

A solid gel moisturizer

I had higher hopes for this as the Sephora employee stated this had no alcohol but it did (where the star was lost is the alcohol content). It didn't wow or disappoint me but it helped seal in more liquidy skin care items like japanese toners and essences. If you are looking for a fast absorbing, mattifying and lightweight gel moisturiser and do not mind alcohol as an ingredient, this is perfect.

While I love the other products in the "pureness" line, this cream was not a winner. It did hydrate my skin, but also left it feeling sticky and very oily. While this is not a bad product, personally for me it just left more to be desired.

Great for summer days

I have dry skin but tend to get sweaty and a bit oily at the T-zone during summer. I used this as a day cream during summer, and it works perfectly, very lightweight, absorbs quickly and balance hydro-oil well. However, it might not be moisturizing enough for dry skin during other time of the year. I used it once in October, and my skin dried out.

Meh

Purchased this for a light, summer moisturizer. I have pretty balanced skin, sometimes a little dry. I found this to offer little moisture, still getting some dry patches. It's not bad, but it's not great and I've liked other Shiseido products better.
