I have thick type 4 natural hair and this shampoo was a little too striping. It definitely does what it claims but just isn’t the clarifying shampoo for my hair.

I found this product very harsh for my particular hair type. The first time I used it my hair felt almost too clean like it had stripped absolutely everything and it freaked me out so I didn't really use it again until recently. Now that I'm almost done the product and can say it's a great clarifying shampoo but a bit too harsh for me so won't be repurchasing, but if I can't find something else I like better I would probably circle back to this.

Best hair detox on the market

My hair is dry, frizzy and wavy and I use this once a month for an intensive detox followed by a deep condition. I love that it gets rid of dullness and chelates product and mineral buildup. About to finish 2nd bottle and reorder

Gets the job done

I have purchased this item multiple times. I have natural 3c hair and for a while I straightened my hair every 2 weeks, this made my scalp feel extremely clean and a little goes a long way. It shouldn’t be used as a regular shampoo just for build up .

Hair journey wins!

I bought the small bottles to test out this brand and was pleasantly surprised at the results, I have super fine hair that appears to be oily and looks dirty the next day, I'm doing my best to be on a hair journey and this is making it that much easier to achieve results 😀 100% recommend..

Very drying, made my scalp very dry that cause me to develop so much dandruff. Returned it.

May be harsh to some

I was very excited to try this as it has great reviews, but it gave me dry, red flaky spots on my scalp. I used it after scalp oiling (once a week). Scalp issues are not normally an issue for me.

Excellent clarifying shampoo. It’s exactly as advertised, it will strip everything out, so you need to add the moisture etc back in with the follow up products. With a thick conditioner and a leave in hydrating product, my hair comes out great

Love this product for detoxing chemicals/dry shampoo/hair spray out of my hair but it COMPLETELY stripped all the color out of my hair in just a few uses. My hair went from dark brown to dirty blonde after 5 uses
