Not the same

I did the check your color online, gave my information and shade then was directed to a shade implying it would match what I had. How about NO! It’s too orange and too dark! I’m waiting to tan a bit to see if it works better. I was so excited to try this brand and save myself a little money but I’m totally disappointed.

Nice and light

This serum foundation goes on light and feels just like a second skin. It doesn't settle into fine lines and it covers moderately. You can build it for additional coverage - but I like the natural finish of just a basic application.

Love it!

I layer this over Ilia’s True Super Serum Skin Tint. I get SPF protection and better coverage with this combination. I have tried many foundations and am happy to finally find a foundation that works so well.

The best foundation! So many color choices to find your perfect match. It's lightweight yet has medium coverage. It gives my skin a glowy finish that is just gorgeous!

Terrible

Have not used iLia before. Product was very runny, way thinner than the serum foundation I’ve used from another brand. Light cool color was ORANGE and didn’t apply to skin well at all.

A foundation that works!

I'm 46, and it's around the time you need to change your face products to match your aging skin. I love this foundation because it's light and matches exactly to my skin tone (and I've tried so many prior).

I don't wear foundation. I've been trying several, as I'd like to have one. This one is perfect for me, I can't feel it, it's light, I can't see it on my skin. I will say the shades were challenging though. The same with the serum foundation. I should have gone a shade later than I am. And I find Ilias foundations do run a little warm. I'm a fair/light neutral and F1 was a better match. But I'm pretty happy with it. And I can't stand the feel of foundation on my skin. Or a tint even.

Consistency of Ilias is making me question the price. My latest order of this is so yellow! I had an issue with the “all of me” multi stick in a different order being so different, and way more vibrant to an unnatural look.

Good coverage for an even and solid make-up canvas

I use this when I will be applying more make-up for evening. It gives good coverage, truly evening out color. I don't need to cover any "local" spots or rings, but it absolutely provides a very clean canvas for other colors/methods. For me, with dryer aging skin, it requires a very good moisture base underneath, but I have not needed any kind of powder for matting/evening out on top.I also like having a non-SPF option, even though ILIA's SPF-options are zink based, which is good.

True Serum Foundation

Very pleased with this product. Great coverage and keeps skin smooth. It just took a bit of getting used to the scent.
